    I watched Iran with my mate Sam in an Waxys Leicester Square. US game I was in another pub with other people. Wales game, Sam and I reunited and went back to Waxys. Now I'm not travelling an hour into central and going to Waxys on a Sunday night with work tomorrow. Instead I'm meeting Sam local and replacing Waxy's with another Irish pub in O'Neils. I feel like this should be enough to secure the win...

    Southgate would have to win WC to beat everyone else combined then. So not super likely. It's that 90's/00's record that is really bad. Especially as it wasn't like we didn't have decent players.     Was just thinking that. He's won 5 knockouts. Today would be 6th if succesful. We must be in territory of he's won more knockout games then every previous English manager combined

    If not England, then Messi winning would be nice but I also wouldn't mind Netherlands winning too. Would be their first WC finally, and with what Van Gaal's gone through recently and it being his last job before retirement, it would be a lovely story. Anyone else winning can get in the bin though

    US gave it a go but not enough quality up top or at the back. Good game though. And hopefully a sign of things to come in these knockouts. Holland/Argentina should be a good match up
