    Was this save carried over from FM23? You bought Endrick for example from Palmeries for $13M.

    haha yeah, I watched some of your episodes. I think you're right, if you had bought some better players it would have worked out better. I've bought some guys who are definitely more leading Champ side players, but mixed in with a few Premier League level guys, and I have so far managed to keep Onana to hold down the CM. No one has ponied up the required cash for him yet.

    I hate for this thread to become the "Everton Tycoon Thread" but man, I have never spent more time going thru all the preseason transfers and such as I am right now. Mostly because literally everyone wants to leave and I'm being way more methodical in who I am targeting to replace practically my entire starting 11. It's made it quite fun. i started the Everton save last Friday and I am now just getting to the start of the season.

    May need to try and 'force' an AC Milan tycoon. There are ways to do that and make it produce organically. I used to do that in the past when trying to get a sugar daddy for certain clubs.

    In December of 2024 and Everton had a takeover. Seems like a popular team for takeovers seeing as one has been posted already. They remained in the Prem in this save but have about 300M currently and didn't do much with their squad after the initial takeover in the summer of 2024. I'm in December 2024 now and just now only noticed Everton had a take over. I'm currently managing PSV and for fun "Declared Interest" in the Everton job as they currently sit mid table...so we'll see if I can get the job.

    I signed Luka Jovic for 1.5M in the first January transfer window in my PSV save, and he is doing immense up top with Luke de Jong and Marcos Leonardo who I signed as well. I've always like Jovic and I am bound to get him back to scoring.

    Your season was remarkably close to season I had in 26/27 (just entered 27/28 season). We finished top of table, had no losses, and only 3 draws. Lost in CL finals on penalties after 120 mins to Real Madrid. Only blemish on a near perfect campaign.

    This one didn't unfortunately. Bristol Rovers had a takeover in early 2025 in the same save tho. I saved it when I noticed.

    Just noticed this on my news feed. I'll keep an eye on it if it goes thru.

    I was eventually in OCt 2024 able to get decent offers for Casemiro, Varane and I even offered Bruno Fernandes out via "generate market interest" and was able to sell all 3 to the Saudis for 55M, 75M and 95M each respectively. They all leave in January 2025, so I am in the midst of finding replacements for a few of them. So far Alex Scott joins us in January from Bouremouth, and Tchouameni will join to re-bolster the midfield. Going to splash cash on Evan Ferguson as well as I need some cover there for Hoijlund and Konate.

    Start of second season Udinese had a Chinese Tycoon take over in my save.

    Did you post this Crystal Palace save? In FM23 someone posted a tycoon Crystal Palace save and I loved it.

    Well, on the bright side this gives me one more evening to try and win the CL with my Crustal Palace side before FM23 retirement ceremony.

    I've hated this as well each year. It's a hassle every time you start a new save to deal with that.

    Last year was the only year I had every had a problem continuing a beta save. After the full release, there was a certain date I could no longer advance past. I think a lot of people had this issue, and so I did restart my save with same club I was managing. Of course only a few days later they rolled out a fix and I was able to continue that broken save, but by that point I was already newly invested in my new save. But overall i always continue my beta save for a long term save.

    lol came to the forum today to see if this thread was active yet. Thought to myself, "No way...it's too early for that." Forums never disappoint. If it drops on the 21st or that weekend I will die. Only weekend I am out of town this month.
