Matty Kyle
Is it just me but are arsenals youngsters given the most unbelievable stats? You look at man u youngsters like welbeck rafel posseben and there stats are laughable in comparison It has been a trend in FMs has it not? It really grinds my gears
dexta200
Welbeck, Possebon and Rafael become very good, Arsenals players are very good mate, as proven in the Carling Cup. tbh I think they have most spot on
PureForce
that the same carling cup team that lost 2-0 to burnley ?
Adolf Ginola
arsenal are freakishly good. it seems every player has 16+ for passing and the most ridiculous thing is that they all have excellent mentalities, when we all know in reality they're a bunch of whinging sissys who would sooner sit down on the half way line and sob than actually try and win the match with dignity. in my second season they won the league with just 2 draws and 1 defeat all season - with pat rice as manager. in summary: utter ********. and while i'm having a whinge, why does scolari play that ridiculous formation? all you need is to half decent wingers and you've won. now i like beating chelsea but come on. come on. Canal
Arsenal 1st team is what confuses me! they always keep up with my "all-star Chelsea team" despite never buying class players!? they still have Almunia in goal, still play Gallas at CB (35 yrs old)... about to lose Fabregas to me though... suckers... tansrb
that the same carling cup team that lost 2-0 to burnley ? LOL! i was thinking the exact thing as you!
Matty Kyle
Exactly, look at some of united youngsters against blackburn. Arsenal have like 16 passing and creativity as some1 mentioned above. They all also tend to have higher potential than all overs Even the some u18s have better stats than say gibson! dexta200
they lost to burnley yes but its the same team who thrashed Sheff Utd 6-0 and beat Wigan 3-0. I am a Chelsea fan saying this aswell. Its because they have good experience in cup competitions and played some league games and also done well on loan. Alot of the other players are under rated its not Arsenals youngsters who are over rated.
Noni.
Their team is stupidly good on FM, all their players CA is on par with the top four, but the difference is that they all improve vastly. Add that to the fact that they have a huge transfer budget they are nigh impossible to stop!
dexta200
I manage to keep them away from the title with ease tbh i'm chelsea they finish 2nd but I don't struggle against them.
Canal
not impossible if you buy their best players!! ie Fabregas, Vela, Wilshere, Adebayor.... like i have been doing... sweeeet!
Welshace
how many of uniteds players have had first team experience? how many of arsenals players have had first team experience? welbeck, rafael, possebon hazve only come into contention this season... and even then.. not anything spectacular.... and they all become great players eventually.... arsene wenger has built up a reputation on bringing youth through... and where as united bought through the golden generation.. there hasnt been any standout successors tbh... fabregas, wilshire, ramsey, merida have all proven themselves... just as rafael is doing this season... thats why they are brilliant and lastly... WTH has this got to do with good player and team guide.... post it in general bull**** forum.... not here
dexta200
Basically what he said ^^^ If someone ie Rafael started a few games this season even he done amazingly he won't have the stats to show this until the next patch. People base there FM stats on this season when it should be last season and Pre Season. Where the good players at Arsenal played in Carling Cup and Wilshere and others were brilliant Preseason. Eckauskas
Eduardo was the most over-rated player in FM 2008.
Welshace
why are you suggesting eduardo is overrated? have you seen him play? have you seen what he managed at dinamo and the national team? oh.. and no... im not an arsenal fan in any way, shape or form..
dexta200
Eduardo was a very good player before his injury and im sure still will be when hes back.

Ediocy
This is more for GD imo. I'll move it. Is there any chance of merging all the 'moaning at Arsenal' threads into one please? There have been at least 4 or 5 threads that have sprung up within the last week. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=79382 http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=74378 http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=79174 http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=78673 I am not denying that generally, people are having an issue with how Arsenal have over-performed in their games (or rather how the other big teams in the EPL have under-performed). However, it has been really grating to see so many threads opened individually when they all have the same content. If everyone could just please add all their insights to one single thread and discuss/moan in there, I think that would be great.
joshmay07
ramsey always becomes worth betwenn 25-40 million pounds on the 3-4 games i have had on fm and thats in 3 seasons !!! takes the mic
Mike7077
I've complained about Arsenal being too good. Then they go and finish fifth in my first season, five points behind Aston Villa. Seven games into the second season and they're tenth!
SI Staff Ter Posted December 12, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted December 12, 2008 The best thing to do would be to highlight any errors or players your think are overrated in the Arsenal thread in the Data Issues section
