It's crazy that there's no other teams at that level which get anywhere close to those numbers. Any idea why they're so popular?

Yeah, they were a proud, historical league club forced out of existence due to a dodgy owner. The fans rightly feel aggrieved and are doing what they can to get the club back into the Football League.

United Counties League Cup runners-Up season 1980-81

Stevenage Borough 3-0 Thrapston Venturas – 1980-1 United Counties League Cup Final | BoroGuide

FYI, it appears the current Thrapston Ventura is a phoenix club.  The actual 1980-1 runner-up is now known as Thrapston Town FC.

Hi guys,

I have been using another lower league database from another creator for FM22, and just yesterday the season's stopped generating in 2030/2031 season, so my save is completely useless now and I am a bit heartbroken.

I have never used Lionel Messi's databases in the past but the comments here all look really positive - has the fixture issue ever been an issue for anyone in previous FM's? Would it have been the database that I used that resulted in my save becoming defunct?

Thanks!

That's the risk with any custom database, happened to me before too. It happens I believe when fixtures/competitions don't complete by a set date, meaning no fixtures are scheduled the year after. That's why databases need to be tested for as many years as possible.

Guys, sorry to intrude and I am really looking for to messi's database. In the meantime I am playing with Dan's lower league database and managing in level 11.

ANY tips on managing at this level? Formations, tactics, what to look for in players??? Help :)

Thanks

United Counties League Cup runners-Up season 2000-01

As far as I can tell it's Cogenhoe United in 2000-01 (https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/cogenhoeutdfootballclub/a/cogenhoe-united-39799.html?page=5)

Can't find a score though.

Still got a nice, long list of things to do after all that?

I think all data is done.

Maybe some leagues at level 9 and 10 don't have all the winners or runners up for every year but that's all.

I'm onto doing the rules for competions and just a sweep and tidy up to see if everything is ok then I will be onto testing.

Database is looking good.

TV Dates for FA Cup added in.

Got some missing competion runners-up to be added in, will post information what i need later.

United Counties League Division 1

Irthlingborough Diamonds's program for the next season lists them as "UCL Premier Division KO Cup champions", so I'm guessing there were separate cups for the different divisions (with Stevenage winning the lower division one). Can't find who they beat though...

I think it's a different competition I'm afraid. Corby Town were higher up the pyramid in the Southern League at this time.

I think you could be right.

I was taking the winners fromthe wikipedia page on the united counties league cup and adding to it.

If anyone could provide a link to winners and runners-up for the united counties league cup it would be very grateful and then i will update the data.

If this is the right competition, you can scroll down to recent champions and then scroll  to the right within the big table then it should display all the  league cup winners. Haven’t found any info regarding the runner ups though, but I’ll keep looking

Also, it seems that the united counties league cup is named “Sports Ground Developement UCL Knockout Cup” or “UCL COC” as those terms come up on the official united counties league page in an article about Anstey Nomads winning said cup (and they are listed as league cup winners in the wikipedia link I shared) which highly suggests that the league cup and the competition in the article are the same competition.

this is the link for that article

https://theucl.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/UCL-Season-Review-202223-1.pdf

this link also mentions that Deeping Rangers finished runners up in the 2022/2023 cup

this information might help to find out who the runner ups were

Are you still planning to do a beta version or will it just be a full release now?

It will be a full release.

Its getting very close to release now, about a week.

The structure change at Level 8 where each league will have 22 teams for the 2024-25 season has now been completed, (testing for a season to see if works proper)

County Leagues back up to 320 teams for the 2024-25 season.
