lionel messi Posted May 21, 2023 Share Posted May 21, 2023 The Aim To take a team from Level 6 and try and work your way up the leagues to the Bundesliga and champions League glory gaining points along the way for winning competions/promotions. For this challenge you will need the Level 6 German Database, (Download available at the bottom of the page) There is also a excel spreadsheet available with all the competions on so you can keep track of your progress. Starting Up Make sure the Level 6 German database is activated with no other database add-ons. Start a new game with all leagues activated down to Level 6. Attribute masking is optional but in-game editor is not allowed to be used. You can start Unemployed if you want to or you can just pick a club at Level 6. You must start your management career at any Level 6 club. Start a manager with no coaching badges (you can and should obtain them along the way) Start with a sunday league footballer reputation. No additional languages beyond those generated by your nationality(ies). 2nd nationality only if you genuinely have a genuine second nationality and you have used your real primary nationality. No use of in-game editor. All other advanced options (e.g. adding players to playable teams) are allowed. You need to start with all leagues loaded down to Level 6 to start your management career. Any database size, any start date. Requirements Win as many trophies as you can from the list of competions below as you make your way up the leagues. You will get points for winning League's & Cups based on the reputation of the competition, (Example if you win the DFB-Pokal you will gain 141 points, win the German Berlin League and you will get 53 points etc) You must win the Competition while you are the manager (the competition must not have finished before you takeover as manager) If you gain promotion from a lower League you still get the points for that competition. (it just wont be counted as a trophy unless you win the league) If you get sacked you will need to apply for jobs at Level 6 clubs. You can only apply for jobs for teams that are in Level 6 and started the 1st season at Level 6. When you join the challenge post a screenshot of your manger profile. A leaderboard will be created on the 2nd post for users taking up the challenge. You lose lots of money though. Im currently 3rd in my 2nd season, need to get in to the top 2 to get promotion but those 2 teams are way better than the rest including a 2nd team. Finances are in the toilet so I think the main objective for this save is to rocket up the leagues ASAP so the damage isn't quite as bad. P.S. OugaBagga Posted July 16, 2023 Share Posted July 16, 2023 (edited) SSG Nikola Tesla 2023/2024 Well I won the league quite comfortably again but due to the board slashing a grand off my wage budget on January 1st meaning I had to get rid of a lot of my squad, then rely on youth for filler, I had a 1st team squad of just 11 going towards the end and the fact my goalkeeper forgot he had hands in the play-offs I came 3rd in the group and didn't secure promotion, I think it will be a very difficult season next time out, but hopefully I can build a strong enough squad to at least win the league again Edited July 16, 2023 by OugaBagga Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm about 15 seasons in, and if I return to it I'll update here too. Took me a long time to get out of the Oberliga into the RDN. The finances are indeed absolutely murder in the lower leagues, its all about winning that regional cup to get the DFB: Pokal payday to slightly balance the books. I was in with a shot of promotion up until the last few weeks of the season, (disappointing cup final loss aside) it was a very good season and I'm hoping to build on it and finally make it to 3 Liga next season.
