I just happened to look at Uniteds squad, and he’s still showing in their squad, highlighted in green. Which apparently means he’s on trial there. How can that be? I'm pretty sure that you don't get a choice. In any event I'm not sure it would do your relationship with the player any good to tell him that can't play in a testimonial for one of his mates.
