First transfer of this winter.

I never like Koita, he is just a pace player. I kept him because of registration rules.

But 1 mio is a nice chunk of money.

His replacement will be the former Stoke player Verlinden.

He had a 725k release clause for foreign clubs at Dunajska.

He looks really well rounded and the scouting report also showed Big Matches.

 

 I got high hopes on him. If he does well, maybe a PL team comes sniffing. He counts as homegrown in England.

Deadline day business.

Burnley came with a nice offer for Panya.

We bought him for 30k and made a really nice profit.

 

This also means we brought our first player into the top 5.

Burnley isnt the biggest team, but you never know what happens in FM.

You can use any team outside of the top 5 leagues.

I just picked STVV, because they had an interesting starting point with their club culture and finances.

 

If you want to have Japan filled with real players, then you need a custom DB.

You can find it in the editor section here in the forum.

The problem with the Japan DB is, it doenst go well with other custom DBs.

Oh, I just meant clubs with interesting club cultures like yours lol. Maybe (not sure) it would make it easier to ship players to foreign continents.

If you're staying in Belgium then Eupen also has some interesting links. Alternatively if you like your south american transfers then consider a mid table Portuguese team like Guimares or Braga or Famaliciao.

In Portugal you got a lot of teams, where you need to sign Brazlians. Estoril wants Americans. Tondela players based in Spain.

We got some really nice prospects, which are waiting for the next step.

 

Hopefully we can spent some money to get some new blood in. 

Couple of veterans are retiring. Sadly Honda wants to retire.

The WE League is one of the best leagues in Africa.

 

Also the got a pretty intereseting foreign rule:

So we got free access to players from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

I think it is pretty cool that Syrians don't count as foregneirs, but I am wondering if this is due to the civil war or is a legacy of the fact that for a brief time (1958-1961) Syria and Egypt were unified in the United Arab Republic.

I think is the United Arab Republic part.

I got Syria and Palestine also loaded up, next to Africa.

 

Once I get enough scouts, hopefully we can expand into this region too.
