We got almost the best team, only Chenjie is injured.

The decision has been made.

I think I found the right 23 man to represent China.

 

I had a squad in mind since last year, I only made one change to it.

I dropped Huang Kun, which got 26 caps and choose the uncapped CB Baosheng Zheng, which came trough the Celta Vigo academy.

Ziyue is by far the best keeper we got over the past 10 years. Since he joined the Dragon, we concede less goals.

Meng Tong and Chen Jianming are completing the selection.

Su and Zhu will battle for the 2nd position, but they need play to there best.

Im really excited about Baosheng! Maybe he gets the surprise start.

Sadly Fofana said no, so this position was also locked for a long time.

Danilo will obviously be our main guy in the midfield.

His partner will be Liu, one of the best B2B mids I've ever had. His plays way above his stats.

Cao and Jailson are completing the midfield.

Jailson wanted to retire last summer, but I talked him out of that. Great utility player.

Ribamar is also one of those players, which play above his stats. He got me to World Cup glory before, maybe he can do it again.

I dont know what to say.....Portugal didnt deserve sh*t here.

All game we kept them busy in the midfield until Changpeng scored with a 20 meter rocket.

Last play the game is a corner highlight and ofcause they score....

 

Anyways we are into the next round and we got A LOT of confidence.

Again a lot of surprises.

Mexico kept there chance with a draw against England.

Albania got a hard fought draw against Brazil.

South Korea got a late draw vs Germany.

For that we switched the midfield and played with 2 BMWs and destroyed everything.

USA beat Spain with a 90 minute winner.

Czech Rep. lost to Morocco after beating Germany.

And Turkey beat France!

 

 

Tunisia shouldnt be that much stronger then Ghana.

Intense game by two equal teams.

So it went all the way to pens, where Ziyue saved two pens.

 

Morocco beat Columbia via pens too. We both got an extra 30+ minutes into our legs.

Once again we got to pens and Ziyue saves again two.

 

 

 

Portugal also needed to the the extra mile and defeated Turkey via penalties.
