Season 2022/23

The season ticked over...so lets look how the London teams have done.

 

Vanarama Nation League - South 

Obviously we won the league and got promoted in the National.

Welling and Hampton finished both midtable.

All 4 teams did not have anything to with the promotion or relegation.

Now we join them.

Leyton with a solid midtable finish.

But Sutton managed to get promoted and I now a League One side.

Wimbledon with a solid midtable finish.

Charton were in the playoffs, but lost in the first round against Crewe.

QPR and Millwall with a midtable finish.

Fulham in the playoffs against Swansea.

I think the save game is bugged? Arsenal won the league...

Chelsea finished infront of Tottenham and takes the last Euro spot.

Palace and Brentford with a bottom table finish.

And West Ham got relegated with Newcastle LUL and Norwich.

Brighton won the FA Cup final against Chelsea.

The EL goes this year to Real Sociedad, which beat Benfica in the final.

Transfers & Squad - Summer 2022

 

OUT

Decent sized clearout.

Dayton and Sterlin will join our U18 coaching staff, the rest was just not good enugh.

 

And 5 days before the season starts Sheffield W. out of nowhere with a bit for Pritchard...

He was still on a youth contract, cuz of money reasons,

IN

Familiar faces are McKenzie-Lyle and McQueen.

McQueen joins us for one more year on a loan, right before the affiliation with Dag&Red got cut off. He is a freebie.

McKenzie-Lyle was our main keeper last season and Cambridge didnt want to use him.

 

Kurylowicz will challenge McKenzie for the GK spot, I will give both equal opportunities.

 

Lopez (LB) and Davies (RB) will be our new starting fullbacks.

Improving the defense was my biggest target, I had 2 really good CBs on trail.

Only 1 said yes and thats Muir.

 

Our midfield didnt need much attention, thats why only Turner will be another option.

 

Also the attack needed some attention.

Torraj looks really really good for this level. Edwards is a nice utility players.

And 5 days before the season starts, we signed a LL legend in Taylor-Crossdale.

We had him back in FM19 too.

This summer joining us 5 Tottenham youth products, 2 from Arsenal and 1 from Barnet, Leyton, Chelsea.

 

Im almost happy with the squad.

We improved the team massivly in the summer and keept the important players from last season.

 

Im still looking for one midfielder and a utility players, which can play ST/RW/LW.

July 2022 - Van. National League Game Day 1

 

We got Weymouth on the first day of the season.

The media rates them as relegation team, so this was a good test for us.

 

We beat them pretty easy.

Torraj got his first goal for the club.

And our new CB Muir got an 7.8 without an assist.

I subbed him off so he can get his applaus.

7 interceptions and 15/15 headers won.

We might found a gem here.

July 2022

Only one game in July, so the table doenst mean much yet.

The finances still looking good.

Even we doubled our wage budget.

 

Coming Up

The game against Chesterfield and the freshly relegated Barrow will be a good test for us.

The rest is predicted below us, so we should beat them.

Its shows why they are the relegation favorite.

The game tried really hard to FM us.

We went 0:3 down with 3/4 shots goin in. Also they got a red card.

 

I threw bottles and screamed at the team and in injury time we got atleast the draw.

Even Danny missed a pen, he never does that.

We found another utility attacking player.

Really good start to the season.

We beat freshly relegated Barrow and got a nice away draw against Chesterfield.

Danny is the leading goal scorer atm.

We made a loss for the time in a long time.

I need to figure out what I can do.

Also tough games against Fylde and Yeovil.

After September we see where we will go this season.

We got an agent offer for Hanson. He was on a Non-Contract at Dover.

Our first backup Taylor isnt that good anymore and will leave us.

This is a great improvement.

Still undefeated. And how it looks, we can push for a playoff spot this year too.

Bloody Aldershot is first and we are 5 pts behind them.

Mills and Muir is leading the average rating chart.

With 3 home games we only loss 20k.

Basicly I need to get rid of some bad yout players.

The first 60 minutes were a tight game.

But after some berating they finished the job.

Uff.... We drew a League One side in Shrewsbury.

Almost a perfect month. But it was a really good draw vs Aldershot.

Talking about Aldershot, they lost some steam. They didnt won a game in the last 4 games, so we are first!

I never had a defender on a 8,0 avr rating.

Danny is still good enough for this level.

I loaned out one youth player and we got a nice +/- profit.

The month starts with our big FA Cup game.

Also big games against Solihull and Grimsby.

November 2022 - FA Cup 1st Round

  

Woooooooo...What a game!

What a performance from Green!

We beat a League One side...not only a random League One side...

They are currently first!

We got 77k from the split gate.

Plus the 26k from winning the game, we made 100k!

 

In the 2nd round we drew a League Two side in Walsall.

They are bottom table side.

 

Man....we beat Shrewsbury...maybe we can do it!

Still undefeated lol.

We started the month with the great victory against Shrewsbury. They are still 1st in League One.

 

Aldershot cant win games, they on a massive draw streak.

I guess we can get back 2 back promotions.

We made a nice profit with the FA Cup game.

This got me thinking, maybe I get 1-2 improvements and push for League 2.

 

Coming Up

We start the December with the FA Cup. I would love to get into the holy 3rd round.

Also I hope we actually can play games and not gettin 3 waterlogged pitches.

We scored all 5 pens and Kury saved 2 Walsall pens.

I wanted McEachran all summer and now he is willing to come.

He replaces our currently DLP Parrett, which is slowly gettin worse and worse.
