Northernpilgrim
In terms of transfers, Luis Herrera left for Lyon after refusing a new contract, and Reviglio has been sold as he's 36. We have signed left back Daniel Pinto and before last season had fully finished and ticked over into the new one, I signed a new keeper. Who is injured. Already

Northernpilgrim
I'm back I'm not sure what I've walked into here, but this is the Milan squad I've inherited, and they won Serie A last season. The last time this much dead wood was on display was the TV footage of the aftermath of the Great Storm of 1987
Northernpilgrim
Two wins in August, but one was a friendly which leaves us third in Serie A
Northernpilgrim
So many transfers out that they don't all fit on one screenshot and just one signing. De Man comes in to play centre back, but he's equally capable at left back
Northernpilgrim
A perfect September leaving us top of Serie A on goal difference and second in our Champions League group, thanks to Liverpool thrashing Salzburg 8-
Northernpilgrim
One match from perfect in October, but we were deservedly beaten in Turin which leaves us top of the table, but only 1 point clear of Lazio, and 2 clear of Juventus We're also top of our Champions League group, the decisive trip to Anfield is next. Win that, we pretty much guarantee topping the group. Lose, and we will still have to work to qualify
Northernpilgrim
Perfect in the league in November, but not in Europe We were deservedly spanked by Liverpool, but utterly mugged by Fenerbahce We've opened up a 4 point lead in Serie A but we'll need Liverpool to slip up in Turkey, whilst we need to beat Salzburg if we're to win our Champions League group
Northernpilgrim
December was a disaster, results wise but we were desperately unlucky against Bologna. They scored with their first shot, and we missed 2 penalties We were terrible against Lazio, not even having a shot on target and awful against Sampdoria We now trail Lazio by 4 points and had to settle for second in our Champions League group
Northernpilgrim
January began with six straight wins, but ended with two defeats We secured the Supercup and despite the Cittadella defeat, we're top of the league
Northernpilgrim
Two arrivals, 8 departures since the last transfer update De Las Heras comes in to boost our options at centre back and Milovac is a definite upgrade in goal
Northernpilgrim
A horrible start to February stretched our losing run to 4, but we finished with 3 wins and that leaves us top, but Lazio have a game in hand and can overhaul us
Northernpilgrim
March also began with two defeats, and saw us crash out of Europe and that leaves us 1 point behind Inter, but we've played a game more. Winning the title is going to be difficult, and we need to cut out the sloppy defeats if we're to do it.
Northernpilgrim
Youth intake time, and only 1 player is getting a contract and here he is
Northernpilgrim
One match from perfect in April but how on earth did we lose to Bologna? We go into May 4 points clear, but all the teams around us have a game in hand. We face a must win game at home to Lazio next
Northernpilgrim
Not the perfect ending to the season we were hoping for to guarantee the league title and we should have at least drawn with Sampdoria It didn't matter though. We went into the final day needing a favour from Spezia, and we got one Inter's 3-2 defeat at Spezia meant that we finished top of the table and are Champions
Northernpilgrim
Time for another season review Signing of the season went to Milovac, but could easily have gone to De Man or De las Heras Three defeats in the closing stages of the season nearly cost us the title, but in the end, the fact we only drew one game all season won us the title We did score plenty of goals Finances aren't fantastic, but we're not in trouble (yet). We need to go deep into the Champions League next season I agree with the team of the season No competition awards, but several club records broken and that's it, another season over.
Northernpilgrim
Preseason went well. Unbeaten, and only 2 goals conceded
Northernpilgrim
Four players were released Four arrivals, loads of departures, mostly on loan Roux is our new first choice right winger Gunkel will be first choice right back Beqiri is a young centre back as is Quaye Our squad now looks like this and our squad depth looks much improved
Northernpilgrim
The one real area in need of improvement now is in central midfield. There isn't any room in the budget for further signings in January, so we'll go with what we've got this season, and hopefully bring in more next summer
Northernpilgrim
Only one competitive match in August, and we got off to a perfect start leaving us top of the early table

Northernpilgrim
The only positive to take out of September is that it was an unbeaten month We were utterly robbed by Atletico, who came for a point and got one We couldn't capitalise on an early goal against Monza, and they grabbed a late equaliser We were utterly robbed against Spezia, who grabbed a point from their only shot on target with 3 minutes left of a game we totally dominated Finally, Rangers went down the park the bus route, and stole a point as well leaving us second in Serie A, but Lazio have a game in hand and yet to score or win in the Champions League
Northernpilgrim
On paper, nowhere near good enough in October and whilst we were marginally worse than Lazio, so I can accept that defeat, we were utterly robbed against Perugia We're 10 points behind Lazio and in a 3 way fight to progress in the Champions League
Northernpilgrim
Unbeaten, but not perfect, in November We outplayed Juventus, just look at the xG but a draw was fair against Atletico We're third in Serie A, three points off the top, but we have played a game more We are through in the Champions League, and will top the group if we beat Rangers at Ibrox
Northernpilgrim
December wasn't a great month to take us into the Christmas break We deserved a draw against Rangers and should have seen off Salernitana, who scored from their only shot on target We do end the year top of Serie A, but we've played more games than any of our rivals and we somehow ended up winning our Champions League group, although I'm not sure why. We beat Man City twice, so I understand why we finished above them, but we drew both games with Atletico, scored less goals than them, and had a worse goal difference. I'll take it, but I don't understand it
Northernpilgrim
Unbeaten in January Although Roma deserved their draw, it came very late and it was a shocking error from our keeper Roma 1-1 Milan - Match Highlights.webm and that leaves us third in the league, three points behind Lazio
Northernpilgrim
One arrival, four departures in January as Novello comes in in central midfield. He looks a baller
Northernpilgrim
Not a brilliant February The second leg defeat against Parma was deserved but irrelevant. We were woeful against Spezia and deservedly beaten, and we were second best against Lazio too. The frustration with the Lazio game was that we were leading until right at the end and that leaves us 4 points behind Lazio, whereas a win would have left us level at the top. It's going to be tough to win the league from here, and we need to to have any chance of topping the Hall of Fame

Northernpilgrim
March was the perfect month and leaves us 1 point behind Lazio, who have a game in hand
Northernpilgrim
A mixed bag of results in April, as we deservedly crashed out of the Champions League to Southampton, and put in a really poor performance against Parma That leaves us second in Serie A, but very much in a title race
Northernpilgrim
Maybe 'crashed out to Southampton' is a little harsh, given that in this alternative universe it's 2050, and Southampton are the defending champions. They've yet to win the Premier League, having qualified for the Champions League 2 years ago by winning the Europa League, and making it 2 years in a row by winning the Champions League. They are going to qualify for next season's UCL, as they're second in the Premier League
Northernpilgrim
We couldn't finish off with a perfect month in May but did at least seal the Coppa Italia Whilst we deserved to lose to Inter, we deserved better against Salernitana We end the season second, 5 points behind Lazio. If we had beaten Salernitana and Inter, we'd have won the title
Northernpilgrim
Time to review what, despite a trophy, is a massively disappointing season Beginning with new signings Season results There weren't too many bright spots and finances worsened again This was our team of the season Somehow Camargo won best goalkeeper, despite only playing 1 game all season and that's it, another season done

Northernpilgrim
Three players have been signed, and lots have left, mostly youngsters on loan Colombo joins me for a second time, having played for me at Tottenham Chiarot is a defensive midfielder, but equally comfortable at centre back. If/when I sign another DM, he'll more than likely move into the centre of defence Botella is a centre back, who was recommended by my AssMan, but isn't as good as his initial report suggested. He'll be mostly a backup
Northernpilgrim
On paper a terrible start to the season but we should have beaten Crystal Palace and Liverpool Which leaves us 10 points off the lead, and just 1 above the bottom 3. We need to improve, and fast. If I'm sacked, this save will end as I won't have any chance of completing the objective of topping the Hall of Fame
Northernpilgrim
Two more players arrived before the window shut, with four leaving Zepponi is a defensive midfielder and Landais is a left winger, brought in to replace Seguin
