-Jef-
2020/2021 Transfers Since I have not done a proper January update or any update since December I have to show you lads the transfers I have done this year. Only addition to the Famalicao family is the Israeli striker from Hapoel Haifa for up front fee of €1.1m. He was made available for the B team, where he will play most of his games next year, and was immense for them. Future Transfers All of these are Israeli players to please our Chairman! But I do not think any of these are bad players. So let's introduce them. Most exciting prospect is Konstantin! Looks like an amazing player to learn under Pellegri for a year or two and then to team up up front with his country-man Mizrahi. Another exciting player, that will play 1000+ minutes straight away, is Cohen. Although he is lacking in jumping ability his tackling means that not a lot of players will go past him. Intake Abysmal. Signed most of them but do not think any of them will make it to the first team. Edited August 30, 2020 by rosque
-Jef-
Player Development Planning Part 1 | May 2021 In these posts about player development planning I will go position by position and outline a plan with future transfers arranged in mind. And since only Ben-Shushan is arriving in the summer he is the only one to be taken into account. Players in screenshots will be arranged by Current Ability and I will go through each one outlining my plans for each individual player. Maybe this answers some of the question you'd ask, @_Ben_, about how I plan to develop and integrate players. Player performance for their respective teams will be taken into account when making a decision about promoting, demoting or cutting players. I will also not be promoting players for the sake of it, especially into the first team, as some level of ability has to be had. Goalkeepers Claudio Ramos is a 29 years old, 30 for majority of the next season, and someone who has proved to be a steady and reliable player between the sticks for us. He will remain as the number one option for the Main Squad. Vana is going back to Porto as his loan is ending. Not a bad option but definitely not someone I would want as backup goalkeeper seeing as we have two keepers waiting eagerly to get promoted. Speaking of getting promoted, Dario Caetano is getting promoted to a Cup Goalkeeper role next year. And with us being in five competitions we will need a player for 3 Cup competitions so that Ramos can take a break. He played for B team last season and I am hoping that some experience under Ramos will improve him even more. Only downside is that Caetano is not a Sweeper Keeper. Soufian El Bakhtaoui is a player who was brought in for one euro at the beginning of the year and he has established himself as a pretty good goalkeeper for U23 side. He is, by default, getting promoted to B team now that Caetano is promoted to Main Squad. And even though he is not tall or physically imposing goalkeeper he is a Sweeper Keeper and I am working on improving his Strength and Jumping Reach. Gabi was on loan at Paris FC and did not play. His contract is running out and will not be extended. Tiago Botelho (YP20h) is improving, as @Jimbokav1971 pointed out he will despite poor personality, and will step up to U23 team next season. He is anything if unexceptional goalkeeper with great reflexes. 20 clean sheets for U19 team is respectable and hopefully improves even more with better competitions in the following season. Ruben Sa is already 19 and too old for U19 team which means that this team will not have a proper keeper, for now, this season. He will be released with his contract expiring. -Jef-
Player Development Planning Part 1 | May 2021 Right Backs Players marked red are gonna be cut/released as are either too old for U19 or have the worst personalities whilst not being top notch potential players. Costinha finished with 12 assists last season and is the first option for the club. He is here to stay for 10 years unless one of the bigger teams comes knocking on my door. Emerson is a center back and will not be covering him in this update. Ivo Pinto was a decent backup to Costinha but he will be going back to Croatia after 2 year loan spell in Famalicao. 31 years old and a player that relies heavily on his athleticism does not bode well for him. Fode Konate is in the same mould as Ivo Pinto but not on his level. He will be promoted to B team. Ricardo Trindade (YP20f) is a center back. Márcio Abreu (YP20a) was the best prospect of the 2020 Youth Intake but is developing slowly. He was battling for the position with Konate in U23 last season and young Malian came out on top. He will stay in U23 for the time being. Giovane Alexandre (YP20j) is also a center back. This leaves me with no players for U19 and with no backup for Main Squad. This is added to the transfer window wishlist. -Jef-
Stadium Expansion | June 2021 Basically the whole season we will be playing on Estádio Abel Alves de Figueiredo. But we will get slightly above 8 000 people capacity. The stadium is not that far from our training ground. And it holds 15 000 people! And other teams using the stadium will be Tirsense and Tirsense U23 Training and Youth Facilities Upgrade But these facilities are already under construction! Chico, what is you doing? Maybe it makes it so it's like double upgrade at once? Who knows.

-Jef-
PSG Signs Messi | June 2021 Remember when I said that I have 'freed' Messi by making him leave at the end of contract? Well, PSG signed Messi for free. PSG also offered contract to Kai Havertz. This is the team that Messi will play with. Will be interesting to see how Tuchel can fit so many stars in 442 and where will Messi play. Up front or as CM?
-Jef-
Transfers Update | June 2021 We have spent no money on signings. Except we did and they are shown in Transfer History for last season. Ben-Shushan is brought in to please our chairman with bringing in young Israeli players. He will go straight into B Team. Kryvtsov was brought in on bosman and will be in rotation with Emerson, Possignolo and William for center back spot. Emerson will act as backup right back. Morganella, Lowry and Erdinc were brought in as mentoring players and apart from the odd game here or there they will not be playing. I have exercised €18.5m option for Pietro Pellegri. He was already worth €12m and I doubt I could get a striker of his caliber and potential for less money so I bit the bullet. Great all-around striker who will hopefully build on his 20 goal season. Miguel Silva and Ricardo Lopes somehow were not signed which is my fault. Now they are back at the club and will be in U19 for the positions I previously said I needed. Lameiras was moved on because I want to give chance to our youth academy winger from first season, Marcelo Ângelo (YP20c), who is making rapid progress. And it is a good chance for Ruben to move to the Premier League, and him being in the prime of his athletic life, I just could not deny him the opportunity. Luka Oliveira was moved on because, while being a good winger, he was simply not good enough for first team and other players were justifiably moved into B team in the same position he plays. But more on that in further updates. -Jef-
@HugoLazgo12, a switch to new tactic has made me a lot better team! And going unbeaten in second half of the season made a push for the league a bit easier Though the points were close we had to be almost flawless. I has 4231 wide and 442 combining depending on how the opposition set up.

-Jef-
Player Development Planning Part 3 | July 2021 Center Backs Crossed off players are not for the position being highlighted or being sold/discarded/not in plans. With around 100 players I will only highlight the ones that are truly being considered for main team or at least B team. Patrick William, Kryvtsov and Emerson Santos are all first team material and with me playing so many games they will all serve as Regular Starters. Lucas Possignolo is a pure backup. Armando Lobo (YP20b) is currently playing for the B team and will do so for the rest of the season. Same as Daniel Ben-Shushan. Though I do think Daniel's maximum is being a regular for B team. Daniel shares the same faith as Vladimir Seide and Bennett Gumede. Rest are here to fill out the U23 and U19 squads.
-Jef-
Player Development Planning Part 4 | July 2021 Left Backs Luiz Henrique is converted central attacking mid to left back. The reverse Gareth Bale. He is someone who is so well-rounded and versatile that I expect him to be first option on the left for next ten years. Unless Fabio Coentrao regen spawns in Famalicao youth intake. His back up is newly promoted Armando Lopes who had tremendous season in B team which saw him get 11 assists. I assume he will perpetually be happy to be Henrique's backup. Perfectly average with solid mentals is all I can ask from a back up. Morganella is here for tutoring. Irrelevant as far as I'm concerned and he's also a right back. Rodrigo Domingues is someone who is looking like he's ready to jump in first team but looks too invaluable for B team so he will be kept there, also perpetually. I don't think anyone else is worth mentioning.
-Jef-
Player Development Planning Part 5 | July 2021 Central and Central Attacking Mids As you can see there are a lot of players and a lot of talent going around the Famalicao ground. I have purposefully put together MC and AMC together since most of them can play both positions and especially since I play with a playmaker at the CM spot. This time we'll be splitting players into three groups - players currently in main team, players with talent in developmental teams, honorary mentions for developmental teams, without much description because there really is a lot of talent for 3 spots. Ivanušec is pure star of the team, the driving force, my version of 2018 Ballon D'or winner Luka Modrić. Fuentes is a captain and starter. Guga is the team leader and rotational piece. Goncalves was promoted from B team and is showing me I should've promoted him last year, oops. Joao Mendes took the starting spot from Eyibil, spoiler alert, and is developing into a pretty solid attacking mid. He is the homegrown player who was there when I took over the club. Eyibil is someone who I had hoped would develop faster but is coming along nicely and together with Mendes should form a formidable duo in the middle. Joao Gomes was brought in for €1k in my first season at the helm and has slowly went from U19 to now being promoted to U23. I think he should be playing for B team starting next season. Two Joao's, Castro and Neto, are battling for the same spot in B team and Neto looks like someone who could slot into the RPM role in first team in few years. Very excited about Joao Neto. Matheus Clemente and Ryan Teague are both going to be in the B team for the foreseeable future and even might get discarded if someone from U23 and U19 makes a jump. Rest are really poor. -Jef-
I will admit that I played bit more than I should have as far as reports are going but I have to address this. @Jimbokav1971 Clauses in Effect €30.5m just because I sold Assuncao with 50% of next transfer to Southampton! I got €47.5m of €51m possible from all agreed clauses from sale to Soton and additional €30.5m which brings the value generated by Assuncao sale to €78m!! Southampton got screwed, tbf, with €3m going to Gustavo himself as they only got €27.5m which lost them €20m in two years. He had release clause of €61m for teams in CL. I will continue with normal updates as usual just less games updates once I finish the developmental updates.
