change the name of three letters for teams, competitions etc.

Hi, as the title suggests, I can change with a string in the .lnc file as i do for the short and long name of the teams, competitions etc. ("CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" xxxxxxx "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" ""
"CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" xxxxxxx "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" "" for example), also the abbreviated names? or is this done only with the editor, and therefore not even with the game in progress?

Can you do this with the 3 letter abbreviation of team names on the in match scoreboard do you know mate? I’ve changed Zebre to Juventus but in match their 3 letter abbreviation is still ‘ZEB’.

"CLUB_6LETTER_NAME_CHANGE" & "CLUB_3LETTER_NAME_CHANGE"

There is 2 different options this year but I would just do both to be on the safe side mate

So for example if I was editing Juventus I'd change both to..

"CLUB_6LETTER_NAME_CHANGE"  1139   "JUV"

"CLUB_3LETTER_NAME_CHANGE"  1139   "JUV"

It's probably because Zebre is hardcoded due to licensing reasons. This was the case in earlier versions. 

Solutions aren't available on this board in that case.

So you can only change them to Juventus from Zebre but no way of changing it in the match engine from ZEB to JUV?

Perhaps I misunderstood but if it works for other clubs but not for Zebre/Juventus then that's the probable reason. 

 

Please check if you manage to change other 3 letter names. If that works then it's what I said before. If it doesn't work then it's because the code is wrong(for whatever reason),

Please do not discuss the Zebre team as it is about licencing, which is non-discussable at the forum. Any other 3 letter teamname should be editable. If they are not, that is a bug.

Hi,

Is the "CLUB_3LETTER_NAME_CHANGE" in LNC file works for you ? From my side, only the one with the 6 letters works.
