DavidBeckham
August - March 2023/2024 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We are 8th on 52 points with 6 games to go and that's already 6 points better than the points total we achieved last campaign. Scholesy decided to unshackle the boys in the second half of the season and that paid off well \o/ Carabao Cup We had a decent cup run before we came up short against the mighty Man City in the semi-finals FA Cup We are in the semi-finals! The lads really found another gear in the cup competitions this campaign and we face Fulham for a place in the final against either of the Manchester sides Top Player Leonel has started all our league games thus far this season and managed 6 goals and 5 assists playing in the Box To Box Midfielder role. The 9.75 million pounds signing has been ever present for us this campaign and has proven to be one of Scholesy's best signing!

DavidBeckham
Season Review 2023/2024 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We are now the best of the rest! The boys did fantastically well to finish in 7th, 19 points better than our last season's total and we will play in the Europa League next campaign \o/ The top 6 are still some way ahead of us and we try to improve again next season Carabao Cup The boys had a decent cup run which was eventually ended by a rampant Man City side FA Cup We were so close to the first silverware of Scholesy's tenure! The club with no history proved to be our nemesis again as we fell to a narrow 1-2 defeat in the FA Cup Final. The fact that we missed a penalty in the final made things even harder for us to take We go again! Top 11 Great performances throughout the team as we surpassed our expectations in all three competitions. The fact that Fry managed to stay fit to forge his usual solid partnership with Hoedt this time round provided a solid base for the rest of the boys to build on. Top 3 Players A fantastic debut season by Mitrovic as he finished on 18 goals and 8 assists in 24 starts. What a bargain at a mere 6.5 million pounds! Mykola had another solid season for us and is our Mr. Consistent at left-back, bagging 8 assists in 41 starts. The fact that we have not missed one of Boro's favoured personnel (Paul Dummett) a single bit showed what a great replacement Mykola has been for us. Leonel is no Messi but he has been superb for us since coming into the team in the Box To Box Midfielder role. A grand total of 9 goals and 6 assists is very decent for someone playing quite deep in midfield and the Argentinian is without a shadow of a doubt our breakout star and Scholesy's player of the season \o/

DavidBeckham
Summer Transfers 2024/2025 Pope, Omeruo, Idah, Barker and Hagenauw were all offloaded as they were either in their 30s or entering the last year of their contracts. Ferland Mendy was the only unplanned departure as he was unsettled by Tottenham's bid on deadline day and submitted a transfer request subsequently. Key Signings Jordan Torunarigha Jordan was brought in as Mendy's replacement for 20.5 million pounds during our deadline day scramble. The German was originally shortlisted to replace Hoedt when he starts to decline but we had to bring forward our plans to bring him in as short-term cover at left-back. Riechedly Bazoer We are becoming quite good at making use of the loan market and Scholesy was delighted to have secured a signing of Bazoer's quality on a loan deal. He will compete with our player of the season last campaign (Leonel Klein) for the Box To Box Midfielder role. Felipe Carpegiani Having looked at countless strikers and gone through a couple of rejections just because we aren't playing in the Champions League, we went for Felipe in the end to bolster our fire power. The Brazilian forward is a decent finisher and is incredibly athletic for his age. He will compete with Mitrovic to lead the line at the Riverside Stadium. DavidBeckham
August - October 2024/2025 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We have had a solid start thus far and the lads sit in the 'best of the rest' spot at 7th position. Scholesy is beginning to think that the top 6 will stay as it is forever Carabao Cup The boys did well to eliminate two Premier League outfits but find themselves at the end of a very unlucky draw in the Quarter-finals against Spurs. It looks very likely that our cup run will end here but we will give it a go! Europa League We have looked very decent in Scholesy's maiden European campaign, winning 3 out of 3 against regular Europa League participants, scoring 7 goals and conceding none \o/ Long may it continue! Top Player I've lost count of the number of times Wesley has appeared in this but there's absolutely no way Scholesy can pick out another player ahead of this legend. The Ball Playing Defender has been immense at the back in every single game and even managed 4 goals and 1 assist at the other end. Unbelievable Jeff! DavidBeckham
January Transfers I absolutely hate this guy. Jordan only joined us at the start of the season and his head was turned almost immediately by a bid from A. Madrid. He then threatened to unsettle the squad and we had no choice but to let him go. Absolutely fuming. Lloyd was brought in to replace the son of a b**** for a mere 5 million pounds. He is a solid little left-back and there's the added bonus that he's English. Who needs that German anyway?
DavidBeckham
November - February 2024/2025 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We are 8th after 29 games and the top 6 remained a considerable distance above us. The best we can hope for is to climb above Fulham by the end of this campaign as we are still struggling in the away games against the top 6. Carabao Cup We were really unlucky with the cup draws. The lads did fantastically well to beat Spurs away in the quarters, only to draw the irritating Man City side in the semis. Scholesy was absolutely fuming when we lost 3-0 in the 1st leg after conceding all three goals from set-pieces. The boys redeemed themselves with a solid 1-0 home win in the 2nd leg. FA Cup The bad luck with cup draws continued as we drew Arsenal away in the 4th round after a convincing 3-0 away victory at Leicester. We huffed and puffed but couldn't find the net and the Gunners went through to the 5th round with a narrow 1-0 win. Europa League The lads have played flawlessly in Europe so far! We finished top of Group L with a perfect record to earn ourselves a 1st Knockout Round tie against Schalke. Our very own Canadian 'Bale' grabbed the crucial away goal with the last kick of the game to put us in a good position for the 2nd leg. It was much more comfortable back at the Riverside Stadium as we cruised to a 3-0 win. Sporting will be our next hurdle! Top Player Our Macedonian 'Becks' has shown incredible consistency in his performances for the past few months and he already has 22 goal contributions at this stage of the season. He will be into his last year of contract next season and with him entering his thirties, will you offer him a new contract or sell him at the end of this campaign? Decisions, decisions.. DavidBeckham
Season Review 2024/2025 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We finished the best of the rest again for the second season in a row! The boys did great to finish 7th despite the additional Europa League fixtures and it's even more impressive that we achieved 3 more points than last season's total with a squad of similar quality. We will keep fighting to close the gap on the top 6 Carabao Cup Like last campaign, the boys impressed in a decent cup run which was eventually ended by the plastic Man City side FA Cup Similar to the league games, we are still struggling to beat the top 6 sides away and the boys were eliminated after a narrow 0-1 defeat away at Arsenal. Europa League We were perfect in the group stages and near perfect in the 1st and 2nd Knockout Rounds before Wolfsburg knocked us out harshly in the quarter-finals. Looking at the match stats of both legs, the boys certainly didn't deserve the 1-3 aggregate scoreline Top 11 There are so many players who managed more than 50 appearances for us in a really taxing campaign. Heroes! Top 3 Players The Serbian beast ended up being our first choice striker for most of the season and he managed 16 goals in 34 starts in another decent campaign. Surely he has to be one of Scholesy's best value for money signings at only 6.5 million pounds. We are so fortunate to have Mykola at left-back. He rarely lets us down defensively and is extremely productive at the other end, bagging an impressive 2 goals and 12 assists in another consistent season. It's such a pity that he's already 29 this year The Macedonian 'Becks' has been absolutely on fire this campaign with his set-piece deliveries and long shot prowess. He ended the season with 14 goals and 13 assists and is without a shadow of a doubt Scholesy's player of the season \o/

I had a look at the transfer market and made my decision to keep Bardhi immediately! There's no one who can replace his set-piece prowess and goals from midfield The away games against the top 6 are a lot closer now and we are losing by the odd set-piece goal. DavidBeckham
Summer Transfers 2025/2026 We brought in 5 players to bolster the squad after a couple of loanees returned to their parent clubs. The fees of some of the signings made by the top 6 sides have already surpassed our entire transfer budget Key Signings Weston McKennie We needed more central midfield options after Bazoer went back to Dortmund and Weston provides exactly that. The American is as fit as a fiddle and he will play mainly for us in the Defensive Midfielder role. Pepelu Pepelu was brought in to provide cover for the demanding Box To Box Midfielder role and he will bring a bit of Spanish flair and passing ability to the squad. Pietro Pellegri Pietro returns! The Italian forward came in on loan for a couple of seasons for us and did incredibly well to help us gain promotion into the Premier League. He struggled for game time in Monaco and we jumped at the chance to sign him up permanently. Even though he came in for a huge fee, he will be invaluable for us when the ageing Mitrovic leaves. DavidBeckham
July - October 2025/2026 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We are riding high in the table but we cannot ignore the fact that we have only faced two out of the top six thus far. We lost 0-3 at home to Arsenal and drew 0-0 at home to Chelsea. With tougher fixtures ahead, Scholesy is not expecting to hold onto fourth place for too long. Carabao Cup We stumbled past our opponents in the 3rd and 4th rounds with penalty shootout wins. Bielsa's Bristol City awaits us with their binoculars in the quarter-finals Europa League Our season began in early July due to the Europa League qualifiers and Mitrovic took full advantage by smashing through our opponents with 12 goals in total. Like last season, we are comfortable in the group stages, winning 3 out of 3 and going 5 points clear of Feyenoord. Top Player Our Serbian 'Alan Shearer' is by far our top player for the first three months of this campaign. Despite getting most of his goals against lesser opponents in the Europa League qualifiers, 19 goals and 7 assists in three months is still incredible for someone who's already 31. DavidBeckham
January Transfers Pablo was actually signed in the summer but I believe he was too young (below 18) to join immediately then. The Mexican Wonderkid has terrific acceleration and is extremely mature when making decisions on the pitch. Scholesy will be looking to mold him into Bardhi's replacement in the next few years. Man United was extremely kind to allow a player of Louie's quality to come in on loan and Scholesy's Man United connection has certainly helped The rapid winger has the ability to beat most of the full-backs in the league and he will compete for the right wing spot in our first 11 \o/ Edited May 30, 2019 by DavidBeckham

DavidBeckham
Season Review 2025/2026 - Middlesbrough F.C. League We finally broke into the top 6! The lads performed admirably to finish in 5th position, 2 places ahead and 6 points better off than last season's total. We also conceded the least number of goals in the league with our number one (Pontus Dahlberg) bagging the Golden Glove and finishing in the Team of the Season. We missed out on Champions League football eventually on goal difference after we lost both of our left-backs to injury in the run-in. Nevertheless, what a year it has been! Carabao Cup Carabao Cup was 'Penalty Cup' for us this campaign as we went through on penalty shootouts in the 3rd and 4th Rounds but came undone in the quarter-final after a dull goal-less draw against Bristol City. FA Cup The boys did fantastic to reach the semis after overcoming the likes of Man United in the 5th round. Chelsea was a tough nut to crack in the semis but the job was made impossible when we went down to 10 men after McKennie got sent off for two bookable offences Europa League We were perfect in the group stages again and the lads defied all odds in the knockout stages to reach the semi-finals. As mentioned earlier, we lost both of our left-backs towards the end of the season and Liverpool took full advantage to reach the finals. Top 11 We have players breaking records in our best ever season stats wise. Mitrovic and Bardhi broke the 'goals and assists in a single season' records respectively in another long campaign. Top 3 Players The one-club man is the only player left from the squad which Scholesy inherited at the start of his tenure and he was a big part of our excellent defensive record this season. Dael even managed 8 goals and 4 assists at the other end and that's incredible for a center-back. Club legend \o/ Mitrovic is officially Scholesy's signing of his tenure thus far after another unbelievable campaign. He has returned every single penny of the 6.5 million pounds which we paid for his services after managing 33 goals and 11 assists in a brilliant campaign. I was so relieved that we did not sell Bardhi last summer as our Macedonian 'Becks' had another productive season with 30 goal contributions in 61 appearances. Scholesy faces another tough decision this summer as Bardhi's contract is up and we would need to extend his contract if we want to keep him. Would you do it?
DavidBeckham
Summer Transfers 2026/2027 We struggled to attract players of better quality than the ones we already have as players at the next level refused to join us without champions league football Scholesy managed to bring in 4 signings on permanent deals and 2 promising youngsters on loan to plug the holes in the squad. Key Signings Anthony Benard Anthony came in on loan from Bayern last year with a permanent fee agreed and we decided to go for it after the French wide player impressed. The decision was made easier when we couldn't find better quality or value on the market. Douglas Luiz Scholesy has been tracking the Brazilian since he was a youngster at rivals Man City and this summer was the perfect time to bring him in as we needed numbers in central midfield. Douglas came in for 13 million pounds and he will bring some much needed experience & defensive organisation to our squad. Sam Bowles Sam was our biggest signing this summer and we had to overpay for him as we didn't have alternatives in the market. The English right-back is unbelievable physically and mentally very strong for a 23-year-old. If he can improve on the technical aspect of his game, he can be a top right-back for us in the next few years \o/
