jack_man
With the new press conferences in 09, the interviewing and questions would have hopefully been improved. So this got me thinking how about if you act as a pundit for Sky. think about it you can get players in your good books and scout them at the same time. Rate or slate !! ET-Taylor
That would be cool and there should also be sound commentary
Ozzy38
That would be cool and there should also be sound commentary Last time there was audio commentary, everyone hated it.
DiscoStu94
TBF that's not a manager's job, it's a separate job, so I don't think it should be on FM. Maybe commenting on a rival's match with someone else or an upcoming opponent would be a good idea.
Richie Brill
It's not a managers job BUT it does happen so maybe it could be implemented into the game where you might get picked once a season to be part of it
malleria
It isn't a separate job you always see them on shows when they have spare time for example siomon davey(Barnsley manager) was on soccer a.m. the other week and he had a game later on!!! I think you be asked to be a pundit on games/ shows a few times a season and also when you are out of a job you should get asked more times.
arsenal_2111
I reckon it'd be good to get questioned on this in press-conferences. Like, asking you what you think of Player X who has just scored for Team X.
YesYesOhYay
it does happen- like phil brown has been on MOTD a couple of times could be good, but maybe hard to implement right!
DiscoStu94
I'm not saying managers don't do it, I'm saying it's not part of the manager's duties.
Robi_ts
great idea, maybe get bored of sitting thru other teams games tho!!!
millsy1982
I sort of like the idea. Though I would prefer it if you was being asked question about other teams/players during your press conference. Player X scored a marverlous hat-trick in mid week for team Y. Do you wish you signed him when you had the chance? Or After Player X's poor performance for International Team Y, would you have any words of encouragment for him. Or Team Y are really struggling at the moment. Being a former manager there could you offer any advice to Manager X.

TomHAVFC
It is a good idea but I can't see it being implemented.
Ashley_Tofte
Yes It's a good idea i like it, something new. Although 09 is not out, Si say this is the time they start looking for new features for 2010 so well timed.
bouncebackability26
that would be wicked if you could go on soccer am and get interviewed, and be a pundit at one of the games over the weekends. managers are always doing this in real life. ET-Taylor
But they could revamp the audio commentary
ldeaves
But they could revamp the audio commentary Yeah i wouldn't mind seeing another dabble into audio commentary in FM. However it would have to be right, not turn into a dud, a well known voice, and many varieties of what is said would be useful. If not, it would not be worth it imo. However, improving 3D from this year to the next is more important, again imo.
arsenal_2111
I hate sound commentary, I always play with sound off anyway(on all games). The only reason I would want it is to find out how to pronouce half of my Polish players names... Also, it's fun setting up a team of Greeks. It's half time before they've read out the team... But I don't want audio commentary in TBH. EDIT: Also, if it is as repetive as in FIFA, I would get bored after minutes.
Mikko
Hi, How about shot map (or how do you call them)? The kind you have in the www.soccernet.com gamecast part, With those tex when you hover your mouse over one dot(shot) it says for example "Ronaldo 23min, shot blocked" or "Fabregas 11min, wide".
