thejay
This would never happen in real life
Dar2000
It's always been the case in FM that AI manager retention does not mirror real life. I guess it's difficult to implement unless certain clubs 'characteristics' can be coded or sackings linked to chairman attributes. Maybe board expectations should be much higher at the elite / tycoon clubs? Also how about more managers resigning when they need a new challenge? In FM when an AI manager reaches the very top reputation clubs they tend to stay there until sacked.
SurferJames
I have seen that many times in fm however you don't know what has been talked about between him and the board, also barcelona are not used to sacking managers

In FM when an AI manager reaches the very top reputation clubs they tend to stay there until sacked. In fm 13 with the latest patch , the manager retention was quite realistic. 4 years with barca and only 1 cup title would get any barca manager sacked. 1 year without a title is already considered a disaster for the top 2 clubs in spain Try raising it in the bugs forum, see what they say. I will do that
Football Manager.
Anybody that tries to defend it must produce evidence of the last barca manager to be manager for 4 consecutive seasons without winning la liga. And as these are very different footballing times I would expect anyone that is making a case for this to have a name from the mid/late 90's - present. Ackter
No, but we are talking about a simulation of reality.
SurferJames
yes that is agreed upon what I am saying is there will be parts in the game where they might not win anything but would talk to the board and the pressure will ease etc, maybe buy players to improve clubs rep etc.
