League Table - Blue Square South Team Stats - Blue Square South Player Stats - Blue Square South Lets see how all the teams are doing: Allithwaite Rangers Manager: Lee Nash, a rookie manager who is only 30 years of age, has not had any experience before. Transfers Bradwell Athletic Manager: Ian Baraclough, played at championship level for Leicester and became assistant manager of Scunthorpe in 2004, before joining Bradwell as a manager. Transfers Cider Heads Manager: Jeff King, with over 15 years experience, he is one of the most experienced managers in the league. Transfers Clanfield FC Manager: Kelham O'Hanlon, Not an experienced manager but an experienced player as he played in the premiership with Middlesborough. He joined from Barnsley, where he was an assistant manager for a remarkable 1 day! Transfers Cressington United Manager: Kevin Poole, another rookie manager with no managing or playing experience. Transfers Cricketenhead Football Club Manager: Phil Wilson, played in the lower leagues for Stalybridge and Southport. He was managing Barrow, but left to join the Cricketers. Ridleys Posted February 14, 2008 Author Share Posted February 14, 2008 End of Season Update - 07/08 Well the second half of the season really did turn around for some of the teams League Table Team Stats Player Stats Manager of the Season Player of the Season All the Manager of the Month Awards All the Player of the Month Awards With the League finished the playoffs got underway: Ironz played against Westfields and FC Cardiff played against Team Jesus FC. The first of the matches started with Ironz playing against Westfields with the game very evenly matched and finally ending with a 2-2 draw. Match Overview Match Stats Player Ratings The Second Leg was another evenly matched game with Westfields scoring a penalty in the last minute to take the game to penalties, where Westfields won 3-2. Match Overview Match Stats Player Ratings The Second of the playoff finals was between FC Cardiff and Team Jesus FC. The first leg was a good game with FC Cardiff dominating and winning 2-1. Match Overview Match Stats Player Ratings The second leg was the opposite to the first leg with Team Jesus FC dominating and winning 1-0 by full time. This means it went into extra time. It finished 2-1 to Team Jesus and the game was destined for another penalty shootout. FC Cardiff won 3-1 on penalties. Match Overview Match Stats Player Ratings Playoff Final - Westfields v FC Cardiff Yet another close game with Westfields slightly dominating on possesion. The game ended 1-1 and yes another penalty shootout was on the books. Westfields won 4-3 on penalties!
