A Canaries Sing Song

Welcome one and all to A Canaries Sing Song, my now 4th save to hold its place in this forum. This save will be attempted at the same time as I am doing my maiden FMS story with Lowestoft Town which can be found here if anyone wants to read it.

On to this save however;

Game: Football Manager 2010 Patch 10.2

Leagues:

Every single league from Europe (I'm not kidding, I love my computer :p)

Top league from Brazil, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, USA, Mexico and South Korea

Database Size: Large

Player Count: 141,000 :cool:

Edits: Just made some changes to the competition names like UEFA Champions League etc

I have abandoned my journeyman style careers for now in favour of playing with my favourite team in the whole wide world Norwich City Football Club. My aim is to take them from the wrongful place of League 1 up to the Championship and beyond. I am also changing my style so now I shall be showing match reports with lots of screenshots. I have screenshot cravings from FMS ;)

I hope you enjoy! :thup:

Grant Holt...Forest reject! ;):D. One name I see missing from that list is Chris Martin who I thought was a decent goalscorer. Have you sold him or have you just forgotten him? ;)

Anyway, good luck with this Sax, at least you won't need to ask how Norwich are doing! :p

Good luck Sax! Don't become West Brom of the Championship! :p

How many leagues have you loaded in total?

It's 95 Leagues from 41 nations in total.

In the days to call, which we have left behind,

Our boyhood’s glorious game,

And our youthful vigour has declined

With its mirth and its lonesome end;

You will think of the time, the happy time,

Its memories fond recall

When in the bloom of your youthful prime

We’ve kept upon the ball

Kick it off, throw it in, have a little scrimmage,

Keep it low, a splendid rush, bravo, win or die;

On the ball, City, never mind the danger,

Steady on, now’s your chance,

Hurrah! We’ve scored a goal.

Let all tonight then drink with me

To the football game we love,

And wish it may successful be

And in one grand united toast

Join player, game and song

And fondly pledge your pride and toast

Success to the City club.

Kick it off, throw it in, have a little scrimmage,

Keep it low, a splendid rush, bravo, win or die;

On the ball, City, never mind the danger,

Steady on, now’s your chance,

Hurrah! We’ve scored a goal.

:*) On The Ball City.

2 games through the preseason and I can already see League 1 is going to be chocolate mud cake.

Pre Season Report:

The Transfers:

Asmir Begovic

On loan from Portsmouth and he looks like he is going to be very stable between the posts.

Phillip Evans

Only man I spent money on this season this right back looks very very good for League 1.

Cris

This free transfer will hopefully pay off in my favor but I have confidence in the Brazilian.

Rhys Williams

The second of my three loanees Rhys has versatility and good skills on his side.

Nacer Barazite

Looks to be a menace up the right flank does the Dutchman loaned from Arsenal.

Marlon King

He's back!!! In what is my biggest signing of the window, Marlon comes straight from prison to hopefully put League 1 to the wall ;)

The Results:

Norwich 1-3 Hearts

A good first fixture where we lost the two goals in a attacking rsh in the last 10 minutes, a good performance from the lads.

Dereham 0-4 Norwich

An easy win for us against lower opposition.

Lowestoft 0-2 Norwich

Would of preferred to have gotten a few more goals here but the win is good enough.

Newcastle 0-0 Norwich

A good draw for us here against really premiership quality, even if it was Shola Ameobi ;)

Luton 0-0 Norwich

Not happy here, we should of got something from the game

Kings Lynn 0-4 Norwich

Makes up for the Luton game, a great performance by the guys.
