The Perfectionist II - From A to Z, 118 nations and millenia of management

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, ladies and gents and welcome to hopefully *if the editor data stays working* my long term save, it's basically my attempt on my main save of last year but bigger, with added leagues being found here:

109 Best Leagues in the World and my previous save located here: The Perfectionist - From A to W, 51 Nations and centuries of management If you didn't see the thread or just wanted to re-read it or something.

The aim? Starting in Albania and finishing off in Zimbabwe is to win every league, top and lower divisions, every cup major and hopefully minor that there is to offer.

And as I like to keep things short and simple, here is the set-up:

848a72185b6259675f433157e23b2047.png

Unlike last years attempt I will be starting unemployed in Albania and hopefully I'll get a job pretty quickly!

Other rules? I won't be having any, I'm sure I'll think of rules for certain clubs at certain times of the career (like last year I wanted an all Czech Sparta Prague team) but I will be handing out Youth Product tags (YP) although with me adding and removing leagues once I've removed the country they're in, it will be highly likely that they will also disappear from the game.

Klubi Sportiv Iliria Fushë-Krujë is an Albanian football club founded in 1991 and based in the small town of Fushë-Krujë. The club plays its home games at the Redi Maloku Stadium and they currently compete in the Albanian First Division, the second tier of Albanian football.

So here we are, my first job. KS Iliria haven't won anything but one plus side is that they want me to develop players which could be promising, especially with average youth recruitment which I think is good for the Albanian Second Division.

We have these 5 players who are really good, but I need to get more strength in depth as everyone else is useless!

The board expects a solid season, no heroics but just a good mid-table finish, I'm hoping to do one better.

I joined just before the West Brom friendly, and I'm happy with the results we got in all fairness.

I did say I wanted to strengthen in depth and I have! Now the only problem is finding a good formation to use!

The league is looking tight now with I would say 5 teams in with a shot although there is still 12 games to go. The highlight of the month was undoubtedly the fact that we managed to beat Kamza 1-0 and we now hold onto the top spot by just 1 goal!

With it now being January I'll be looking at bringing in some more players to hopefully give us that extra little push to get us over the line come the end of the season.

Just the 2 games in April and unfortunately our unbeaten run came to an end against Kamza, one of the 2 title chasing rivals who I could have really done with not losing to but Kamza dropped points by drawing their next game. Kastrioti however stay right on our tail with them picking up all 6 points this month.

Take that Kastrioti! They had to face the teams that finished 8th, 9th and 10th for their last 3 games and we managed to go one better than them and get promoted as Champions! And what have I gone and done?

Mr. Cake stealing the headlines as he became the inspired signing of January and really set the league alight with his goals and assists in just 4 months!

A very boring month for the viewers with just the 2 goals, but the points we got were enough to leave us 4 points clear with just 5 games left of the season, can we hold on?

What on Earth happened to Kamza in March?

They only conceded 8 goals in their previous 19 games and then went and shipped 4 in 3! #Implosion lol

Makes Vale Park look good. :D

It still looks like a nice little place to live though, surrounded by greenery :D The Redi Maloku stadium, not Vale Park :p

Good first season, not that I expected any different! Will be a tricky first season in the top flight but I've got every faith in you.

Thanks Andy, it's proving to definitely be a noticeable step up which isn't great.

Best of luck, safe to say that if this is completed, no challenge will ever be bettered! Will be following!

Thanks Torres :D Let's hope that all goes well!

Not the best start to life in the top league but it was to be expected, a narrow loss to the team predicted to finish 2nd and an away draw to the team predicted to finish 8th so results really are where they should be and the Pre-Season betting put us as the overwhelming favourites to get relegated.

The league has taken an incredibly tight turn as we enter into November now, Skenderbeu are looking highly likely to win the league at a canter but from 2nd-8th the league is as tight as can be and anyone can beat anyone...although everyone is having trouble scoring with Kukeksi being the top scorers and the highest conceders yet they're up in 2nd.

4 very tight matches in November, we're sadly out of the cup but we did better than expectations by just making the 3rd Round, I'm very happy at the fact that we managed to contain Skenderbeu and pick up a point against them whilst also dominating possession (We had 65%). The victory against Bylis also called the end of the reign of their manager as Ilir Shulku got sacked after just 257 days.

3 games and 3 wins :D One thing about Albania, all games appear to be nervy affairs, after 20 games the top scorers have 26 goals, only just more than 1 goal per game and other than Besart Berisha who's scored 11 goals for Partizani this season, the top 4 league scorers have just 6 goals.

Absolutely storming start! Staying to win the cup at least means an early look at the Champions League, a lucky draw or two and you never know!

Me thinks you shouldn't have trouble getting a job in Algeria either way.

The cup will definitely be the biggest trouble so far since we haven't gotten past the 3rd Round yet! Hopefully someone from Algeria will take on an Albanian title winning manager, but that's still at least a season away yet :)
