scotty-corkcityfc
Anyone know is this the same as previous FM where the players and stats stay the same with the same clubs but Names change or is it a whole revamp of players, stats and names? Some Guy!
It's still exactly the same as the old games. Players with the same attributes, just changed names.I think there's a large number of people on here who would love a proper random database but unfortunately we're still waiting. It would be quite an undertaking to balance correctly, but hopefully this is something seen one day. The problem is it would likely be a marquee feature (for the time it would take), but isn't likely to be the most used feature, so it may just be one of those things that is never really worth the effort investment. TAF
You can create a pretty random scenario yourself, by just letting the game run for 25 seasons or so, and then starting you career. Some older players will be coaches and managers, but active players will all be generated. I've tried it, and it makes for some interesting games
forameuss
Go into the editor, remove all players (need to set so that search results are unlimited) and then start a new game with "Add Players to Playable Teams". This will generate completely made up players, with different names and attributes at every club you have loaded. Only limitation to this is that the generated players aren't of the same quality as were there before. However, every team is in the same boat, so if the quality doesn't bother you, it'll work. That might be an interesting experiment unless the distribution of quality is reputation based

That might be an interesting experiment unless the distribution of quality is reputation based I don't think so. Could be wrong, but pretty sure it is reputation driven, so the big teams will still have better teams, but the players aren't quite up to the standard of the ones they've "replaced". spankie
It's something I wish Si could bring back at some point, I'd even pay for a FMC database with fake players.
scotty-corkcityfc
How do I go about deleting all players from all teams? Do I nee dto do each team individually?
Lawlore
As others have said, "Fake Players" is basically just a reskinned version of the real data, rather than genuinely newly-generated players. In the editor, deleting all players is literally just a case of going through all of the database and deleting all of the players. It's not a quick process, though, and as others have said, the replacements don't generally meet the same quality as those in the database. I'm working on an editing project that is designed to have a genuinely fictional database, which may be of some interest.
