Tom14
Unfortunately in my experience there is nothing you can do. Hope for a take over or find another club are your options.
Edle
yuo can offer the player a new contract to see if he wants to stay.
CCFC 1927
SI should allow you to issue an ulitmatium in these case, but I don't think there is anything you can do
Soccer Manager
Quickly offer him on a free to everybody - hope he agrees a deal with another team - then cancel the transfer.

gazzamark
Go to transfer settings and set his asking price to zero, then thats all everyone will bid and you can reject them. One thing is I've always found transfer windows a nightmare as you get about 10 odd offers every day.
CMeds
there is a way around this! Set players asking price to 80m or something similar. Then set option to reject all bids of 80m or lower, chairman wont get a chance to intervene. Bid rejected. Job done.

AMr Zaki scored 39 goals. Fulham offered £7.25m. Bates excepted, now he has gone. Same with Krivets who Villa offered £6.25m. He also has now gone
CooCooKaJoo
if the club buying are playable and the player is one of my special ones, i usually add a new manager of the club bidding, then retire, which cancels the offer
