FMWheelerDealer
shame, i signed him my game, very good player, both on the wing and up front, shame he got to 28 or so and i sold him for being too old *laughs*
CrashOverride
You used to able to go into the transfer centre click on the transfer and select cancel, Having said that I havent tried for quite a while now. It might be worth having a look though?

Arkim
^ That works for a transfer that hasn't been completed.
TomDixon77
That disappeared a while ago, seeing as you can't do it in real life. Once you've signed the contracts, you're stuck with him. Unlucky.
CrashOverride
Hmm ok, im sure that IRL if a player suffered a serious injury then the club could cancel the transfer up until the agreed date.
lawsie
you used to be able too, not now
Kain
Its possible it may be cancelled on the day as he'll fail his medical though.
mije1983
Hmm ok, im sure that IRL if a player suffered a serious injury then the club could cancel the transfer up until the agreed date. I'm pretty sure that if a contract was signed and the player had had a medical previously there would be nothing the club could do legally.
Bardia
Its possible it may be cancelled on the day as he'll fail his medical though. The medical is done before confirmation. So once he's pressed the button there's nothing he can do.
CrashOverride
Yeah I suppose but there could a breach of contract thing, goods supplied not fit for service. But hey im no Lawyer. This is also the reason im not a fan of arranging transfers for the future. You could loose most of your transfer budjet and a player that you cant play. I do feel for you OP
frank_olaf
I appreciate the sympathy but its not that bad, he only cost me 8.25 mil thanks to a low minimum release clause. Hopefully he will recover well and get his stats up again.
kristoaster
How old is he? If the transfer goes through at the beginning of summer, he'll be okay for the end of the season! Look to the future
phnompenhandy
As said, a contract is a legally-binding document. There have been cases IRL where a player has volunteered to tear up his contract because of a career-ending injury, but it's rare and AFAIK not coded into FM.
