av3ry
Shouldnt I be able to approach this guy directly instead of having to agree a fee with the club. As you can see (below) his contract has expired which should mean he is availible to everyone, but for players playing in China this dont seem to be the case. Is it really like that in China or is it a mistake by the game?
Tommy \'the red\' Howard
Is the player retiring soon? You may not be able to sign chinese domestic players on a bosman, but im not sure.
joshpmilton
Is it possible this is due to the fact it's a month-to-month contract? As technically his contract may not have expired, thus you'd have to purchase him? I'm probably wrong, but just a theory.
NCFC Gee
I would love to know the answer to this too, i had the same problem but with Czech players.
av3ry
I thought it was just for domestic Chinese teams but when I tried to approach a random player who is out of contract with a South African team, the same thing happened...
rinso
could be that the Chinese FA dont enforce the Bosman ruling...
HL7
AFAIK the bosman ruling isn't enforced anywhere outwith the EU.
Bongo-Bongo
AFAIK the bosman ruling isn't enforced anywhere outwith the EU. WHS. There are many leagues in the game where you can't approach players, such as the Ukraine, Russia and the USA.
NCFC Gee
This doesn't explain my mention of Czech players being the same, the Czech Republic is an EU country.
