Basically some people like to make their own kits for their teams, post them here for all to see

I didnt start until like 2012/2013 season making mine but here goes...

Thanks mate, wish i could get a job designing them for real its so muhc fun , plus makes me wanna carry on with my current game without getting bored.

I used a blank template PSD file with loads of kit designs in and some logogs, had to add the Bebo one though myself, think i got the template from here somewhere

Are you using photoshop? Can you upload the templates/logos/kit designs to here mate for me please? Would be very grateful.

A bit poor I know, but these are only my early attempts at making kits.

I can make the kits and get the logos and badges on the kits, i just cant get rid of the white background on the logos. I cant make them transparant.

I think that there is a magic wand tool that you just select and then click the white background to make it disappear.

just open that up in photoshop and fiddle around hard to explain the easy way

HAHA, i use photoshop too but i need some new templates, kits with different colours as the ones i have are all red or red and black or red and white.

lol nah i dont mind, heres the barrow and west ham kits i done if their any good to ya i dunno. For this template i just search for a small logo of the team then try it that way on the shirt.

if u want them on the game ur best off downloading a premiership kitpack and renaming the file u want as the kit as the one thats already there, if u cnt do that let me know and ill try explain the long way round it lol

go into my documents/Sports Interactive/Graphics/Kits

make a folder called premiership

rename the kit file as whatever for example

westhamhome

then open notepad and paste the following...

click save as

click all files on the bottom and name it as config.xml

should work that way, if not download a kitpack or check on here for tips

2016/2017 Season

can you do these for me in 130x130 size please?

why? these dont need resizing, they get resized by the game automatically, i could resize them but i dunno how to do it without making them look very blurry

This is without doubt one of the best little 'extras' that you can do with the game, and what fun designing new kits!

My only question, and probably a stupid one, is how do you upload the new kits once the game has already started?

Just overwrite them with the current ones in your graphics folder i.e this .... C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\kits

Is it possible to overwrite the championship, league one and league two kits?, ie those divisions that already have a kit pack from the start.

I have created my own kits for the prem and got them in my game, but am struggling with the above divisions.

Is it done the same way?

Yeah, I think it should work the same way.

My first ever posts and my first attempts at kits, these are for the 4 main Paris teams as I like playing the French League and usually pick 1 of these. Obviously the sponsors and kits etc are of a fantasy nature as my league is in its 10th year.
