Phil Macklam
It's the same for any game installed on Steam....no disc required. Very handy when you have a disc installed game you also play regularly.
Arsenal Rule
This was advertised as a change either in this release or last? As you go through steam and need internet connection to register then no need for cd checks.
phnompenhandy
Well done. I discovered how to make fire yesterday with a box of matches. Startling.

Stephanie McMahon's Secret Lover
I have to say that with all this slating of steam, so far I've never had a problem with it. I just don't like having to use a third party program to use FM.
silten
What, like Windows? Direct X? Graphics Drivers? Steam is just another in the assortment of 3rd party products required to play FM. The number of cheap deals that come through the Steam sales and the convenience of downloading, mean that 95% of my gaming is now done through it and I seldom have cause to complain about Steam. Windows gives me far more problems. I'm not saying it's perfect, but if you learn to embrace it, there are many positives to be had. One of my favourites is to see which online games my friends are currently playing, right click their name and immediately join their game.
