J8mb0
I have trouble with my strikers too. Crystal palace. Scott scannel couldn't hit a barn door. My midfield always score though!!
SWaRFeGa
My Bedworth strikers are doing just fine. Four goals between them in first four games. Must be your tactics...
ShyBaldBuddhist
Need more info than that but safe to say it will be down to your tactics. If you want the strikers scoring you have to make sure the team is geared towards providing them with the chances in the first place. try looking here for more help
Packham
Ive looked at them before tho shy. Like Im in the championship and got john fleck on loan. Finishing 14 composure 15 and he keeps going one on one and missing hitting it wide n everything. NOW THAT CANT BE TACTICS! THATS JUST THE GAME even the comentators on the game keep going HOW DID HE MISS THAT! lol
ShyBaldBuddhist
One thing I found to help when my players kept missing was to lower tempo. With high tempo players rush and snatch at chances. Low tempo and counter attacking ticked helped me get my strikers scoring. More to scoring goals than finishing and composure. Whats his decisions, concentration, technique like? Packham
ill give it a try mate.... i think everything is fairly decent
bazrah99
I agree, reducing tempo seems to help a lot with finishing for certain players. Having said that my striker has scored 37 in 36 games in the championship (including cups) for Southampton playing high tempo so I don't think it is black and white. BiggusD
Yes if their Mentality is too attacking and your Tempo is too quick, and if you put a lot of pressure on them, your strikers will be more "desperate" and hence lose their cool.

Mungy
i'm finding that play a more direct passing tactic and using the "work the ball into the box" and "play wider" shouts is giving me better goal scoring opportunities.
Bruun
A nice setup - Adler Richards - Kompany - Touré - Clichy Snejder/Hamsik Silva - Snejder/Pastore - Nasri Tevez - Agüero Lots and lots of goals!
MartinGregory84
I have two strikers at lower league and pump the ball into the box is my method and this brings me goals. Have your strikers got good technique, Composure and finishing???
SeanNUFC
Adjust their individual player instructions if you haven't yet.
postal postie
if your manager reputation is low, which mine was at the begining of the game as Liverpool manager, your players will say they are struggling to find motivationto play for you. if thats the case, you'll have to force some wins through by playing ugly and hoping to nick wins. once they get motivated they will start to score. you also have to make sure your strikers are getting good enough service from the midfield.
