CaptainPlanet Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Now admittedly I'm still on FM09, so not sure if it's changed or not in the later versions, but I've just seen an incredible "birthday boost" for one of my promising strikers. There's obviously a limit as to how much a player can develop each year, my young striker has been playing regular football and training hard for the past 12 months but about 4 months ago stopped having any attribute changes. Then his birthday rolls around, he celebrates being 21 by having a massive attribute point boost to several stats and is now suddenly playing like a beast. Coincidence? But he has been having incremental attribute rises throughout the year, but it's almost like he "maxed out" how much he could improve in one year early on so then had to wait until his birthday before he could continue developing.
