stevie_G_32201
Anyone know what the general wage budget per week is for a champions league club? Currently sitting on £1.5m per week in wages, does this need to be trimmed a bit?
Nottingham Forest
It all depends really. How successful are you? What nation are you from? If you are successful and doing well and in a high paying prize money domestic league then I would say you are ok. But if you're not and you're not successful then I would look to trim it down. I never been a fan of big spending and will always look to try and keep wages down. If I can't do that then the player or players are sold and new ones come in. SWaRFeGa
You could try and get that down to around £1.2m. But £1.5m is quite acceptable really, could be a lot worse.

Nottingham Forest
I would look to cut it down. But if you're Liverpool then I think you could be ok for a few seasons.
milnerpoint
you should be ok with that wage budget as liverpool, you will make tons of money every season, mines sits at about £600k in Scotland which is a struggle, well it was before my new stadium was built, a bit easier now. stevie_G_32201
Could trim it if needed, but dont want the fans ****ed at me for getting rid of reina gerrard and carragher Reina and gerrard and still usefull, i have a 21 year old keeper who is just as good as reina and one slightly worse, gerrard still pitches in but carra is on the decline been trying to force him to retire but he is having none of it. i have a brilliant set of youth kids, so maybe should get rid of a few established players as the youth arent far behind and are on far less wages. Falahk
somewhere between £1m and £1,7m use to be a good level to stick to, for a team that is pushing for the trophy
