Should I throw the game?

Here's the situation,

Im managing Hendon in the championship and its 2017, even by my standards I had an amazing season with my loan players being key. I get drawn against Bolton in the semi's and think ok I'll take the TV money and try a new tactic for next season. I beat them 3-1 over two legs and absolutely play them off the park, now I've got a play off final down the road at wembley stadium against Leicester and a massive dilemma.

Here are some key facts

I share a stadium with Wembley FC and it is only 2,000 capacity (500 seated)

A new stadium is in the planning process due to finish in two years

I'm £1.5m in the red

Three of my legendary players who have been with me since league 2 are all 32+

Training facilities and Youth are both sensationally poor

Should I throw the game or go up to the premiership and completely rebuild the team?

why would you want to throw it? just getting into the premier league will garantee that you go out of the red. If you are worried get promoted, take all the money, buy wisely and go back down £20+ in the black.

Keep going and arrange lots and lots of friendlies to make some quick cash.

Football is all about winning so go for it. If you get relegated then you will get 2 years of parachute payments in addition to all the extra revenue / tv rights etc for the 1 year in the premiership

Good luck! Remember that if you go up, you might be able to lure better players on free transfers to replace your old workhorses. Then if you go down again, you'll have a strong team with better chances of going back up

But from a non biased point of view get yourself in the EPL and as said above, even if your terrible, you will still get heaps of money for the next 3 seasons anyway!!
