Season updates?

Hello everyone!

appologies for my niivety but are there any season updates available?

ive just bought FM10 (didnt realise FM11 was coming out in 2 months! Grr!)

anyways, i dont want to start the season in june 2009 - are there any updates available to download so i can start from jan 2010? or end of last season?

The editors forum would be the best place to look, there's often unofficial data updates in there.

There are no updates like that but if you start the game to start in Brazil you can start in December 2009. Also if you start game in Belarus you can start in March of 2010 (you can pick an English team at the start when its loadded). You could also go to the Editors Hideaway and download a updated database from there and have up to date transfers and leagues etc but start in August 2009. The final one is that you could holiday for a year and then pick a team. Hope thsi helps mate. .

You can go to the Editors Hidaway and download something. I would say Forbsies is the main one.

the updates still wont let you start in 2010. Seach google for FM Time Machine, you can choose any season you want to start.

no dramas, if you want a more customised game though you will need to either holiday until 2010 or as said load another league that starts in 2010.

I am pretty sure there is a file created in the Editors Hideaway that lets you start in England in May 2010.

just click the fm icon and choose add new manager

I started a quick game yesterday, downloaded an update and started in February 2010. Make sure transfer budgets weren't allowed in the first transfer window and holidayed until start of august. If you do that, you've pretty much got a bang up to date game starting at the right time.
