As already said teams can go into administration and therefore it is possible for them to drop down the leagues and into an unplayable division but that is as close as it is for them to cease to exist. Sunlock Posted June 20, 2010 Share Posted June 20, 2010 It's really rare in real life you will ever see a scenario having a club taking the hit into oblivion, they lent the cash, rework the administration, and get relegated.
