robertcornell68
My manager profile describes me as "popular." Who am I popular with? And is it a good thing?
Wonky
Popular with the fans and the board, I'd guess. Do you really need to ask if it's a good thing? lol.
ryan_sacfc
Well, it's not necessarily good. I would hate to be seen as a 'popular' manager. Look at Zola, don't you just want to hug him? That's not how a manager should be.
Slawbawn
Popular amongst the fans because of success possibly?

robertcornell68
Forget real life. FM2010 is a game. Popularity is obviously good as it's a result of success. I was popular BEFORE I won anything. And I've only been at the club for ten months. By "is it a good thing?" I really meant "how can I exploit this?" My theory is that I won the state championship in Brazil which is basically a series of local derbys; so I'm popular for beating local rivals all the time and it means nothing. Vangelis21
popular is good. it is about semantics. real life or not
canvey!!
It doesn't really do anything - it's just a description to add depth. Popular, under pressure, wily old - all ways of describing you as a manager.
robertcornell68
Update I'm not popular anymore - now I'm talented!
McBride
oh, no. talented is what they call you when you're ugly! i'm kidding, of course. i find that if i'm talking up the players in the press and becoming their favorites then i'm popular. if i'm winning a lot of games and pulling off some upsets, i'm talented.
