The Sean
"That's his first ever goal"...ever...and who would have thought a one-armed man in a wheelchair could have beaten Peter Cech one-on-one... Seriously, I must be the place for first ever goals to happen...I give them up maybe a little too easily...
Grecian_03
It's happened to me for the last few versions. Gets annoying, when I see that line in the commentary I just scream very loudly.
NepentheZ
Always annoying. Every other game, a player seems to score his first ever goal, or first goal of the season...
ftg87
Happens to me all the time too. Is normally either a defender/midfielder getting his 1st goal of the season or the 1st goal ever for the 17 year old wunderkind who has been brought off the bench 5 minutes before I would have won 1-
rmfarey
Normally happens at Manchester City in real life. Any player on a bad run or making a debut and their guarenteed a goal
Deisler26
Any player on a bad run This ^^. Annoys me no end...
he_man2003
yes..i've noticed this too...even more annoying if the season is about to end, and someone makes his first goal against me...
gunner86
It happens so much to me I've just grown to ignore it.
Rhinocerous
lol, that happens to me all the time. I'll be playing really well, and still win the game, but some knob who's running on a 800 minute goalless streak scores a cheap goal with 5 minutes left in the game. Or some defender who never goes past midfield scores his first goal ever for x club. ndsgnandgjdg. Incredibly annoying lol.
Bradmonk
Not as annoying as FM09 "By scoring his hat-trick today Mr X ended his ten game goal drought!" I used to see that more or less in every match I played!
dontask
i remember on the old games virtually any striker or midfielder would score on their debut either for or against me.
Geordie 09
Normally happens at Manchester City in real life. Any player on a bad run or making a debut and their guarenteed a goal That goes for Newcastle as well. Any landmark goal, any 1st goal for ne club or 1st of the season you name it we concede it! philmrs
Des Walker . 684 appearances 1 goal Guess who his second goal was against?
Grecian_03
And now I've just had it two matches in a row and BOTH were match winners. Third match running, this is pure BS.
supertrrier
Exeter City are at it now - 12 appearances 1st goal in the 89th minute to give them an unlikely draw against Huddersfield, this is the 5th match in a row where somebody scores their first of the season
supertrrier
Thats it I give in - Charlton's 35-year-old centre half with free kick rating of 10 and long shots of 7 is the obvious candidate to rifle in a 35 yard free kick for his first-goal-of-the-season and his third of this century?
