stevio11
Hi all, could you please help. Just brought my new laptop ready for windows 7 so it still has vista on. Downloaded demo last night and played via steam but I know that it is hidden away in my files so I can put a shortcut on the desktop. Can someone please take the time and tell a vista novice how to get to the folder please.I have vista home premium. SWaRFeGa
I wonder if this is what you mean: Program Files > Steam > SteamApps > Common > FM10 Demo

Administrators Neil Brock Posted October 15, 2009 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2009 Sorry but you can no longer run FM from Steam without Steam being open. Thanks.
aggersleftpeg
Does this mean you will have to be logged into steam everytime you want to play FM10?
Recury
Yes, but you can set Steam to offline mode so you don't need to be connected to the internet to play.

alimac
Can you not create a FM shortcut like you can now for FM09?
Recury
Sure. You can right click the game in Steam and it gives you an option to create a shortcut that way. I think you can find the exe in the Common folder and create a shortcut to that as well, but I haven't tried it. Same thing, really.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted October 15, 2009 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2009 Yeah you can create a shortcut, but the game will still run through Steam now. Thanks.
