peter-evo
Basically. Try and clear up some space on your hard-drive and try again. If that doesn't work, it looks like your save game has perished. Did it save correctly last-time or did the save not finish?
celtic joe celtic
ok it was fine last time i played but none of my saves are working at all now they all just come up with the same message i have uninstalled it and installed it again still doesnt work though
peter-evo
Try deleting some things you don't need and uninstalling unused applications.
FrazT
If all your saves are not working, then there has been a corruption in the game files somewhere. You will need to uninstall, clear the cache folder , reinstall, but your old saves will have been lost I'm afraid.
celtic joe celtic
ok fair enough could you tell me how to find the cache folder to clear it ?
ahmufcwafc
How to delete your cache files First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders. Go to My Computer and at the top select 'Tools' then 'Folder Options'. Then go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders' Windows XP: 1. Open 'My Computer' 2. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\ 3. Go into the 'Sports Interactive' folder 4. Delete the 'Football Manager 2009' folder Wndows Vista: 1. Click 'Start' 2. Click your username on the Start Menu 3. Click on 'AppData' and then 'Roaming' 4. Go into the 'Sports Interactive' folder 5. Delete the 'Football Manager 2009' folder Mac OSX 1. Open Finder 2. Select <User> 3. Navigate to Library\Caches\Sports Interactive 4. Remove the “Football Manager 2009” Folder
Neji
When you re-install, make sure you are using the same patch or a higher version. Saves won't load if you use an earlier version of the game.

RDXCougar8173
crash dumps are normally a coding error somewhere in the game as i had this happen on a certain date in my clan game so i uploaded it to FTP and neil brock got someone to look at it but now there busy making fm10 they might not be able to fix it so best option is to start a fresh game
