Street Football - The Sign Up

A Background

In 2009, John Milsson, a former Arsenal player, started up the Street Football Association. He seeked to find London teenagers playing in street football competitions and turn them into superstars. With the backing of the Government, he formed the London Urbans AFC. They have the place of the recently bankrupted Team Bath in the Blue Square South.

The team is made up of 11 street players found by John Milsson in London. The team has very little money, no transfer budget, so will rely on the sale of their street players to big clubs.

The Sign Up

Each player will have 100 CA and -10 PA

They will be all be 17 years old, and will have a birthday on the same day, the 1st January. Each player's first nationality will be English. Each player will also be able to play excellently with both feet.

Each player is very versatile (can play in many positions) and is excellent in a free role.

Each player will have 20 Ambition and 20 Determination. They will also have 18 aggression and dirtiness. The Goalkeeper has 15 eccentricity.

Finally all players will have 20 Versatility, Flair and Free Role.

Because your player is untrained and knows little of tactics, you can only choose the following attributes to be put at 20:

The sign-up will end when the players reach 25 years of age.

The first season is underway.

London Urbans Team Information

The Team (Note this was taken after two games had been played, hence the injuries)

Both Pete Harmer and Saul Goode seemed to have learned a position. Pete Harmer can now play right back, while Saul Goode has adapted to the CM position

First match

London Urbans 3 - 1 Taunton

It was to be an easy away game for the Urbans, although they didn't really live up to expectations. N Dubz had picked up a short-term injury in training so he had to be replaced by one of the Urban's rather bad regens.

They dominated the field but committed a whopping 42 fouls, resulting in three yellow cards.

Magnus Vestergaard opened the scoring early, then Dean Ward of Taunton scored a surprising equaliser. Barry Possebon took the lead again for London Urbans, and Magnus Vestergaard scored his second to win the day for his team. Acid Burn picked up two yellow cards, and was sent off, while Liam Ferguson got the third.

February 1st Update

The Urbans are dominating the Blue Square South, but it looks like its not only down to the 11 wonder kids, London Urbans have become a feeder club of Arsenal and have Jay Simpson on loan, who has the highest average rating in the league. None of the player's values are above 14K at the moment. Thankfully, no-one was transferred out in the January transfer window.
