Whoopy D Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 Got to admit I have noticed an increase in the amount of free kicks scored but I thought that there were very few scored pre-patch so it might be something they tweaked in the patch, then again it might not be. Sometimes one of my players will have a good patch of form and will score a few in several consecutive matches, and other times they still waste them. Whoopy D Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 Had to laugh, having just posted in this thread I proceeded to my next game and in the 2nd minute I go a goal down to a free kick. They'll position a wall so that there is a yard wide gap on the far post and then stand right behind it, right in the middle of the goal. My FK taker has 14 fk + 15 long shots and he curls them in all the time. Better than having him balloon it every time as an artificial compensation (as it was done in 9.2) but a bit silly nevertheless. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
phnompenhandy Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 I hope it's changed. In my 9.2.0 save, which I've just abandoned, I had some great free kick takers but I scored 4 in a whole season.
