Ever use the reason feature when accepting\rejecting transfer bids?

Like saying "would benefit from first team football" when loaning out young players etc.

And does it really have any effect?

I'm not sure if it has any effect, but yes, I do use the feature.

I used to use it but I don't anymore because it seems as if it doesn't do anything.

If I reject it's usually 'Offer not good enough'.

I used it for my own pleasure. For example, I say "first team player" when they try to touch my Untouchable players. Either that or offer not good enough when it's someone I am willing to sell. Sometimes, they do come back but I realize that if they really want the player, just reject on the "inbox" page. They tend to come back with a better bid.

I'm not sure if it has an effect neither--but I figure it's better than loaning someone out without using it and having them be upset at me and feel unwanted.

I'm very very rarely use the feature at all. I dont think the press deserve an explanation of why I buy and sell players.

They should have an option that says, 'all part of my masterplan'.

Once, in FM06, I used "first team player" to reject an offer for a guy in the reserves. It upset him, saying he was mad I'd lied about his role on the team...

Only real reaction I've ever seen from them, but I do them anyway, because I would...

As a couple of people have said, I only use it to try and get more money.
