The top tier of Papua New Guinea is now worse than the 2nd tier of American Samoa, Papua New Guineas' Hekari United won the Champions League in 2010 and now they're in a league worse ranked than the next lowest countries 2nd division. That's like Liverpool playing in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Yeah, with the wrong teams qualifying for the OFC CL, I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see Papua New Guinea all the way down there. Still though, you'd assume clubs as PNG United, Hekari and a few others to be better than the American Samoan second division

What's the OFC CL history if I may ask? Should be shaken up quite significantly as far as I can tell.

Well I think every other nation has the correct teams entering the CL.  

And yes, the clubs are a lot better than those in American Samoa's 2nd tier! 

Not as much of a shakeup as I would've liked.
