We miraculously got the points needed to secure 2nd and to relegate the two teams we played this month...but I won't be here to manage the club in the promotion playoff!

Västerås SK is a Swedish football club based in Västerås. The club was formed on 29 January 1904.

So I've gone from fighting for promotion to the 2nd tier to fighting for promotion to the 1st! There's one league game left this season!

I don't like the very long pre-season, the league however is very good, I like managing in Sweden.

A very good pre-season and we almost made it to the Final of the Svenska Cupen as well!

I like the short-ish seasons in the Norwegian and Swedish leagues (Denmark has some weird split nonsense...) although the calendar year format takes some getting used to.  Also there are quite tough homegrown rules.

If you end up in Europe and get to the group stages and/or knockouts pre-season is a lot shorter.

The short seasons are nice but on the flip-side I really don't like how long pre-season is! The rules are that the match squad have to have at least 9 players trained in Sweden. The knockout rounds will also be more difficult due to our lack of fitness.

Just the one game in June and it was a good win over Mjallby AIF who got back-to-back promotions as I remember facing them in the league back when I was with Asarums (who are now back in the 4th tier.)
