cameronm Posted June 10, 2018 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Right. I just dont get it. Im currently on a save with man utd. I'm not a 'noob' to fm. I have the best coaches, all specialised training and good youth system etc etc. BUT I CANT WIN? Biggest mystery games so far in this save...losing 7-1 to burnley with my best team..(pogba, lukaku, sanchez, martial, de gea etc etc)...losing 5-0 to palace (same again)...losing 405 to Arsenal after 39 mins...and my tactics arent even bad? I play with a 4-3-2-1 formation or a 4-3-3 wide as its referred too. Good defenders (Bailly and Lindelof, both 4*s), full backs are weak 3*s (Shaw and Valencia). yet this happens? Then I start losing hope and sim for 50 days, and win all but 1 (drew to city) when it was set to use my tactics? I just dont get it? Is my game legit bugged? Ive posted on Reddit and had help from people and tried their tactics and lost without scoring against LEAGUE 1 TEAMS. Is my game bugged? I just dont get it at all. herne79 Posted June 10, 2018 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Welcome to the forum. It's extremely unlikely your game is bugged. If you are playing as Man Utd, losing by those large score lines and then say "my tactics aren't even bad" I'm afraid that for those matches at least your tactics were bad. Each team you face can pose a different challenge, so a tactic which may work against one team may require you to adapt and change things against another. It's also perfectly possible to have the best team in the world but if your tactic for a given match back fires you'll get hammered. I've done it myself plenty of times. If you want to develop your own tactical system, there are plenty of guides and help threads in the Tactics forum. If you would like help with your specific tactic then please post it in full detail along with the exact type of issue you are having and someone may be able to help. Alternatively, you could look in the Tactics Sharing Centre (also found in the Tactics forum) where you'll find lots of successful tactics posted by people for you to download and try yourself (although may not guarantee you success of course). Welshace Posted June 10, 2018 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Is your tactic suited to burnley's style? are you countering whatever Burnley are doing? or are you just hoping your decent tactic is good enough to outpower Burnley?
