Checked, the update today hasnt fixed this or any of the issues i've seen posted but there is no list/comms so i can't tell you what it has fixed.

Seen update today on Steam but this is not changed at all. Can we get an update similar to main game on minor/content patch and what's being worked on with so many issues in editor please?

Could similar update be provided on Pre Game Editor issues flagged in bug tracker. Is there a minor update early next week for any of these issues or timeline on when fixes might be available? (Asking as the main game update was posted earlier)

@Zachary Whyte following announcement on minor game patch by Miles. Can you or team share if the pre game editor patch is also coming at the same time for some or any of the major issues flagged on forum? No mention in main post from Miles/Jimmy

Think last big pre game editor release errors took about 2 weeks for a hotfix.. we expecting the same for a fix again?

Help you here. You have 'extinct' selected which removes nation an leaves option for new club in its place that took its history. Eg. Wimbledon - AFC Wimbledon

I've raised as bug if you can flag too. I'm sure a good edt file could over ride but it feels like a bug

Issue in pregame editor posted that could be related - Nation Short Name re-sets, nation was Luxembourg but issue applies for all nations when testing.

Confirm - issue shared.

Think it might be a bug, can also see no Kits are visible or work in the pre-game editor either...

Working in editor as it opens and 'short name' for nation resets whenever over typed - a bit like a created B team can't change name. Anybody know why or how it could be changed or why? Big issue with any create a nation DB...

I've created a new Award, all functioning fine and name appearing correctly in all places except in news items where it's blank. So 'Player named in ____' and the body includes the full award title (in this case a team of the week) - What DB field should be feeding this? I have everything populated so not sure why news Items arent picking it up. Example below:

So that gives you an idea of what IDs need to be in your config file for the number image replacing faces method. Think this one is the highest Unique IDs i'd ever used/created - see if the Doctors ID is in there, if so could be worth trying to see if it helps the number/image method work. Should say the config is for the UID finder file with images 1 to 15000 config C.xml

Most of the time the Unique IDs in the file from the game before are a bit behind where they are in new games. So it maybe be a case of updating the range of numbers in the config files which can be a pain, but you can start by looking at your Club Doctors ID and that'll give you an idea of the range/area the new Unique IDs are in. Other options include checking one number after your own manager Unique ID for personal assistant.

If i've got a massive editor file and I want to remove changes of one type (Eg. all person changes) - is there a way I can do that more effectively than the database changes tab and selecting by record in chunks at a time?

A general crossover to FM24 question, I had a FM23 custom skin that I like and loading up for FM24 95% of it works - the main problem is the new set pieces element. I've tried removing the panels for custom elements in Tactics (including the in match tactics panels) hoping it'd return to default. But it still doesn't give me any content behind the new set pieces drop downs or takers - Anyone found and solved yet?

Hi - I can see a few questions around this about specific scenarios but could find a more general answer when searching. Hoping to just clarify a few things and (if useful) keep my query open/generic enough that this becomes a useful go to answer in the future for others. I think if I've read right, at least some level of taking old editor game data files into new pre-game editor and game can work. But please correct me if I'm wrong! In FM23 I have an edited DB which includes alot of elements, Clubs/Players/League Rules etc. (A create a nation set up that took weeks of my life...). In FM24 - If I want to open that DB file and look to either merge changes with the new FM24 DB, or with League Rules load up and re-verify. etc, What are: - Best steps to do this easily (eg. does it work best to limit DB changes being merged to clubs/stadiums and avoid players?) - Any good things to watch out for/check that commonly fail if doing this? - Anything that categorically will not work? - If multiple changes/large DB edits, any good ways to break down the files for taking across? (Eg. one for player changes, one for club changes etc.) With the Beta out, I'd like to use my time getting the old FM23 file in best place possible to be able to use in FM24 - benefitting from updated squads,kits, wonderkids etc. of the new database. But retaining the hours of work I did to convert Luxembourg into a created nation floating in the North Sea with rivalries, league and cup structures and full nation of clubs. Appreciate any and all advice from those who have done this or similar in the past (noting that there could be new FM24 Editor changes that make all of this incorrect!)

Try changing to 'Bottom Align' instead an removing the container height. I've been making a custom scoreboard using this as a base and that got it to not overlap, i had to then replace the graphic file for added with one the right pixel size for it to align right but might be a start?

Hi Guys - created some retiered people as legends in a fictional DB save. Trying to assign some faces to them for when refrenced as previous awards winners etc but doesnt want to pull through. Standard faces config with their Unique IDs created using FMXML - does this not work on retired persons / is there a tweak to config needed? Thanks
