  3. A custom database for Football Manager 24 that takes you on a journey to the fantasy Nordic nation of Ossean. Intro Introducing "The Ossean Database Project" - a new custom database for Football Manager 24 that takes you on a journey to the beautiful Nordic nation of Ossean, a fictional country based in the North Atlantic Ocean, with a mix of languages and cultures present across it's islands. This immersive database features a rich football pyramid, made up of 108 teams across four tiers, with unique natural climates for each island that make up the nation. With over 300 custom players, and more players being added regularly, you can build your dream team and take on the best of the best. Competitions The Osseani football pyramid is structured as follows: Superliga - 12 Teams Sekundliga - 12 Teams Tredjeliga - 2 leagues (East/West split) of 14 teams Fjerdeliga - 4 leagues (NE, NW, SE, SW split) of 14 teams Ossean is part of UEFA and the EU, which makes it easier for managers to sign top talent and attempt to compete in prestigious European competitions. In this database each team plays in two exciting domestic cups, the OFF Cup, aswell as their regional cup. Teams There are 108 teams to choose from across the 4 tiers, each with their own unique story and character. Some of these include; Järnväg FK - Last season's treble winners and Ossean's most succesful club Eskifreyri HJ - Superliga champions 2 years ago, they're aiming to get the title back. Kúlurafís - Ossean's "banter club" who always come close to winning trophies. Dijnamo - Historically one of Ossean's best clubs, in the midst of a resurgence in the Sekundliga after languishing in the lower leagues. Other Info You can also enjoy a graphics pack that includes all of the custom player's faces, team logos, competition logos, team kits, and flags. We recommend enabling "add players to playable teams" and disabling "do not add key staff," if you prefer a more streamlined experience. If you prefer building your team from the ground up, you can play with the teams as they are. Have a question or want to get involved? 4. Having used Malta myself, its pretty good as there don't tend to be too many issues. The only one I've never been able to solve is the 'greyed out' players still having VERY Maltese names. Luckily, the regens don't have the same issue as far less generate with Maltese names.
  5. I get to this point and then I don't know what to do next, I can't find any section that mentions the number of games. Stage 0 is the first part of the league I think, 1 and 2 are the 2 halves of the league after the split. I
  6. Have you got the 'is training ground' option ticked? If so then that might be the issue as the game tries to make the stadium look more like a training ground than a proper stadium when that is selected.
  7. Currently have a division of 14 teams, where each team plays each other twice before a split after which they play each team in their half of the league once, for a total of 32 games. I wish to make the total number of matches 38 by making each team play 12 times after the split instead of 6. I could do this fairly easily in basic rules, however, the DB contains a lot of advanced rules which I'd rather avoid having to redo. So just wondering how I go about changing this in the advanced rules. Have already tried altering the 'matches from other stage' section in the 'stage 0' of the competition but this just created errors. TIA for any help
  8. I altered the region of the nation to be in Northern Europe, so unless it’s hardcoded then it isn’t directly related to the region
  9. Continent (and region) transfer preferences are structured as you guys have explained but Nation Transfer Preferences are not, what do I have to do differently? (attached images to show the difference)
  10. Thanks, Ill give that a try and see what happens, might not be ideal but it's probably better than the current situation
  11. After replacing the nation of Malta with a custom nation I have noticed that the better players seem to most commonly transfer to Italian clubs (Milan, Juventus etc), I presume this is somehow related to the nation of Malta. Whilst not a critical issue it is something that I would like to alter. Having checked the 'nation transfer preferences' for both Italy and my new country, neither nation is in the others so that obviously isn't the issue. So I was wondering if there's any other method(s) to change this behaviour or if it is hard coded to the nation?
  12. Managed to find the fix (I think). The ‘registered teams’ for the European competitions still contained the Maltese teams instead of those from my new nation. So I think the game was trying to fill those empty spots with the highest reputation sides not already in Europe, in this case Chelsea and Juventus
  13. Changed all the games to low priority (as far as I can tell), still doesnt work
