Shame about the semi-pro stuff, I had the same thing happening to me, third tier is economically difficult. At my Sestao River save the board returned the club back to professional only once we got promoted into second tier. The board is quite nagging, but hopefully this year you can make it! One year more of experience, the progress was there already. BTW lowering the budget is exactly the best way to help you and the club reach success

How about loaning / selling this kid to the Victor San Marino team? I say Serie A would be more helpful to his progress.

According to me they are just fine like this. If you were to add something, informations I would like to see are - average attendaces of the teams; totale transfers spent / recieved; not only league they are in, but also the position they finished past season. Keep on going, the start was just fine according to me and once the team gets used to higher level, you can make a playoff push in the second part of the season.

You are on the right path, hopefully you can finish it! 2nd Bundesliga would make huge difference to the finances and the fortunes of the club.

Myself I'm in the 7th season with Sestao River Club, now slowly becoming a Liga2 mid table side and I wish I had discovered this forum earlier, as reading through your way makes me feel like writing one myself. How do you cope with sometimes unevitable losing players to the release clauses?

I have read all your updates up to date with great interest, I really like they way you are steadily improving the club stature - despite the setbacks such as negative transfer budget. I agree completely with you when you say it feels real this way, it's pretty much what I'm looking for in my saves too! Good luck with the National team too, will you use it to your advantage calling up your own players to give them some reputation boost?

What a team that was! I think I would be going for Nedved as mezzala on attack duty, with several PIs add. But probably it would need also a player with specific traits, such as arrives late in the area, maybe even likes to shoot often from distance ecc.

There's one thing I'm quite unsure about - tackling hard Team instruction and Player Instruction. If I have my team set on on Get stuck in, and I would instruct one player to tackle hard. Does it make him "tackle even harder"?

Hello, rather than opening a new thread, I'm having this very same issue. I got promoted with Sestao to Spanish 2nd tier, I have renewed some players and signed some new ones and all was fine. However now during the winter trasnfer window, I cannot sign anyone - despite having 250K (per year) of free space in the wages budget, I can only offer 66K to Star players, 45K to important and so on. This makes it hard to sign players, but abvove all as in the Second Division there is a rule that its not possible to register players who are on less than 77K / year, even if someone would accept the wages, I could have them registered for first team. If you need, I can upload you my saved game.
