  1. The first one is fine for FM24. FM25 is harder to predict as we don't know what the system requirements will be, so we're working with the assumption that a dedicated graphics card will be needed for 3D. On that basis, the cheapest thing I can see that fits that criteria is this one, which is refurbished but with a 12 month warranty: https://www.laptopstation.co.uk/products/medion-gaming-laptop-crawler-e30-12th-generation-core-i5-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-nvidia-rtx-graphics-15-6-144hz-fhd-screen
  2. As per the OP, we can't comment on how many leagues you'd expect to run given everyone's expectations on what is acceptable for processing speed are different.

  4. If you're comfortable paying the extra, then you are getting an even better CPU here, as well as a better graphics card. Hard to say for sure that it's worth the extra £400 if FM if the only game you're playing though. If FM is the only game you're thinking of, then I'd probably consider this one (from the previous post) as better value for money. https://www.currys.co.uk/products/lenovo-ideapad-gaming-3-15.6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-rtx-3050-512-gb-ssd-10249077.html
  5. FM24 will run fine. FM25 next year is a huge question mark as we don't know what the system requirements will be as yet.
  6. I'd just say watch out for the tutorial aspects that the game will throw at you through your inbox at the start of your first job as this will get you up to speed on the changes. Other, non-FM advice - contact Valve support to see if they can help you get your account back. Secondly, enable two-factor authentication on your new Steam account as this should hopefully avoid a repeat of the account loss. You probably want to look at changing other passwords too. Check the site below to see if any of your details have been part of any data leaks: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
  7. Just a little reminder for all, wherever you're buying from whether it be Steam, Epic, Fanatical or CD Keys, the pre-order discount will disappear once the game releases at 4pm GMT (around 5 and a half hours from the time of these post) so make sure you buy before then!

  11. No, I was just trying to keep the price closer to the ones you'd shared assuming that was the sort of budget you were looking at.
  12. I tend to load around 10 nations, with all divisions. Player count usually ends up between 80k and 100k.
  13. Yeah, that's one I put together. 32GB RAM really isn't needed for the type of usage you mentioned - 16GB should be more than sufficient. PC Specialist are absolutely top notch. They have an excellent reputation. In terms of DB size etc, it's not really something we can comment on as every user's expectation is different. But it's a very strong CPU and performs extremely well in benchmark tests: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Intel-Core-i7-12700K/Rating/4119
  14. It's overkill in certain aspects - you don't really need 32GB RAM or a 4060 Graphics Card if FM is the only game you're playing, but you do want as good a CPU as possible. Also, lack of built in bluetooth or Wifi doesn't need to be an issue. You can get wifi and bluetooth dongles cheaply enough, Here's another option for you with a decent spec. It isn't quite as powerful as the one on Amazon but I appreciate what you're saying having read through the recent reviews: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/intel-z690-pc/px2bFG6REV/
  15. Option 3 is the one to avoid to be honest. The CPU isn't great. I'd go for the middle one of the 3. It's actually a really good price for the spec.
  16. It's probably my least favourite aspect of the game, It definitely feels like it needs a lot of work still.
  17. Until we know the specs required for FM25, it's going to be safest to assume a gaming laptop will be needed. But you can get ones like the one below that don't have all the flashy lights etc you tend to see if it's the look associated with them that you don't like. https://www.currys.co.uk/products/lenovo-ideapad-gaming-3-15.6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-rtx-3050-512-gb-ssd-10249077.html
  18. It's an integrated GPU. Whilst its decent for an integrated option, it won't be any match for a dedicated graphics card. When you're using integrated graphics, you have to be prepared to use lower settings.
  19. Until we know for sure what the system requirements will be, it's very difficult to say so I'd be inclined to get the £500 one now, otherwise you may find you need to buy again next year unless you're happy to play in 2D.
  20. To me that sounds like some of your hardware is missing required drivers, but I've never had to install Windows myself so I'm not sure. I'd suggest posting here as I've found the people here really helpful when it comes to technical issues: https://www.cybertechhelp.com/
  21. I can't find a laptop or mini PC which meets the GPU requirements for Palia at £300. Looks like you really need a dedicated graphics card to be guaranteed to run it. What I will say is that this has the same spec as my Daughter uses to play Genshin Impact which has similar system requirements. This also doesn't meet the minimum specs but still runs the game, albeit the frame rate does drop at times: https://www.laptopstation.co.uk/products/hp-laptop-14s-dq2512na-11th-generation-core-i5-8gb-ram-256gb-ssd-14-fhd-screen?_pos=2&_fid=a1e5c204d&_ss=c So, this may run Palia, but no guarantees. If you do want to guarantee then it will require a larger budget, such as for this: https://www.laptopstation.co.uk/products/asus-tuf-fx506lh-h-series-core-i5-8gb-ram-512gb-ssd-nvidia-gtx-1650-15-6-fhd-screen-gaming-laptop
