  1. It would be useful to be able to specify a target level for loan players ie “only league 2 clubs” or “league one clubs or higher”. I’m looking to see how players cope at higher levels rather than coasting through leagues that should be below them.
  2. Just had the same thing occur with the English FA Cup. Knocked QPR out of the 22/23 competition and the news screen showed QPR as the 22/23 winners in the list of past winners. On the actual competition screen they weren’t shown.
  3. Intrigued by this thread not only as a Palace season ticket holder but as an annual manager of CPFC on each iteration of FM. It feels like I have managed the same group of players for a few years such has been the stagnation at Selhurst. That said I appreciate the signings of Eze and Ferguson’s an attempt to freshen the place up and can see where the sentiments in your save come from. I’m running my own Palace FM21 save but started with the demo and carrying that through so operating with a reduced database. Injuries at the start are borderline crippling. I’ve got 7 game
  4. Type: Laptop Model: Lenovo Legion 5 CPU Model: AMD Ryzen 4800H CPU Base Frequency: 2.9GHz CPU Turbo Frequency: 4.20 GHz RAM: 16GB RAM Clockspeed: 3200Mhz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Level in 3D: very High Storage Type: SSD Benchmark A: 02 min 20 Sec Benchmark B: 10 min 49 Sec Benchmark C: 13 min 35 Sec Benchmark D: 26 min 59 Sec
  5. My Spanish is virtually non existent but I think that this comes without an operating system. Probably worth checking if you aren’t comfortable with that.
  6. Just having a trawl around and came across this https://deals.dell.com/en-uk/productdetail/65pq which runs the new Intel chip with integrated Iris XE graphics. Apparently able to play some serious games at decent frame rates etc and outperforms some low end dedicated graphics cards. https://uk.pcmag.com/sound-cards/128456/intels-iris-xe-graphics-preview-is-real-gaming-power-in-reach-for-thin-and-light-laptops it would be interesting to see how it would run FM 3D matches.
  7. This! Looking at half the laptops mentioned on here and seeing negatives re fan noise/heat and/or poor screens is scary. Not a pop at the guys taking their time to help but people should look at the bigger picture and pure spec is only half the story. Warranty and after care are also important. My current Dell is one I would recommend but I had a 4 year warranty on it which meant the screen replacement, Bluetooth replacement and fan replacement cost me much less than it would have done without the warranty. If you are shelling out up to £1k or more surely you want some surety aroun
  8. I had a Surface Pro 3 about 4 years ago. Cost about £1,500 and it was absolutely beautiful but it ran the fan noisily and almost constantly. It even got so hot it turned itself off a few times. I ended up returning it after 2 weeks and getting my current XPS 13. it may have been a software issue that has since been rectified but I wouldn’t have another one.
  9. Depends on the individual specs to be honest. There seems to be a trend towards lower processor speeds in machines of late from what I can see (may just be my perception). All I can say is that my XPS 13 from 2016 with an i7 6560U processor - integrated Iris Plus graphics - copes with FM20 just fine.
  10. I’m guessing it’s the 14 inch size that bumps the price up. I think I could get similar spec in a 15.6 form for a lower price.
  11. Looking at this one .... https://www.box.co.uk/UM433IQ-A5044T-ASUS-ZenBook-14-UM433IQ-A5044T_2961565.html Only 8GB of RAM is probably its weakest point that I can see. Any thoughts welcome That said if my 4 year old Dell XPS can run FM21 as well as it runs FM20 I’ll wait til that falls over before making any changes.
  12. Just looked at Steam and the min spec for FM21 shows a lower speed processor MINIMUM: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 7 (SP1), 8/8.1, 10 (Update 1903/May 2019 or later) – 64-bit Processor: Intel Core 2 or AMD Athlon 64 – 1.8 GHz + Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: Intel GMA X4500, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT or AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 – 256MB VRAM DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 7 GB available space Is that correct? A reflection on the latest processors?
