I downloaded one of those top tactics to check how it performs with Luton (predicted to finish 20th).

    Luton-Cosmos-Test-01.jpg

A crazy, reckless tactic that shouldn't work with the weakest team in the league.
Maximum intensity, ultra-hard pressing for 90 minutes.
Attacking mentality, a very high defensive line and hard tackling.

    Match engine loves it though:

    Luton-Cosmos-Test-02.jpg

Jacob Brown scored more than Haaland and Ross Barkley is the league's best player.

Bell has the 2nd highest assist count. This maestro...

Setting up a similar tactic in FM 13 with the 20th predicted team.

    Seems way more realistic.

Adopting a more cautious tactical approach, as opposed to an all-out attacking, high-pressing one, used to yield better results for underdog teams.

Damn I need to get this game, looks challenging. And then people say fm 24 is the best ever.

  2. What would you guys say? What's the peak FM? I don't want to buy the new FM seeing there are some really big bugs with buying players and how physical attributes are OP etc. I had moderate fun with FM 23, but what would you say, what's the most balanced, stable and challenging version of FM?

    Thanks!

What's been changed since update game feels too easy again almost like click and continue before update difficulty was the most balanced ive seen on FM now its boring again no challenge

Good for you man, I lost 7 games in a row, using gegenpress, dropped from 1st to 9th place, morale is really low, don't know how to get out of it.

Try putting the attached file in the following folder: panels/player/mustermann/performance.  I have adjusted some of the sizes of various containers and fonts.  Please let me know how that works.

In windowed mode, your resolution will be relative to the size of the window.  Enlarge the window and the resolution will increase, shrink the window and the resolution will decrease.  The minimum recommended resolution/zoom in the opening post is 1920x1080 at 85%.  This is how it looks at the equivalent resolution in windowed mode with the original downloaded file:

Can you send a screenshot (and let me know your resolution/zoom)?

Hi, it's me again, I know you gave me advice on how to make attributes more visible and while changing color palette did help, it's still not as good as I'd like it to be. How would I make attributes look like they do on the picture here of Sadio Mane player screen?

Apologies for tagging you all at once - I believe you all have had some previous issues with the skin size/scaling, so I wanted to get some feedback on something I am trying out.  Building on the idea used for the Club Info page, I've set up the following which adapts for different resolutions.

Would you use a skin that requires you to scroll down on the player screen?  (I'd also love opinions from those who I didn't tag, too!)

No problem man, scrolling is not an issue :)

  6. Playing with AlbinoLeffe, got promoted from Serie C in the first season which was well above expectations. Money is a bit of a problem, I don't really have much to spend and even though I got promoted I didnt't really get injection which would let me strenghten to squad significantly so I decided to put it all in the wage budget and focus on signing free agents and players available for loan. It's been a bit of struggle so far in serie B, even though we are playing really well, we were really a better team against Udinese and Bari but only got 1 point from these 2 games.

    General information

Sociedad Deportiva Eibar (in Basque: Eibar Kirol Elkartea) is a professional Spanish football club based in Eibar, Gipuzkoa, in the autonomous Basque Country.

Founded on 30 November 1940, the team currently plays in the Segunda División, the second tier of Spanish football, having been relegated from La Liga at the end of the 2020–21 season. The club played in the top tier of Spanish football for seven consecutive seasons from 2014 to 2021, and participated in 26 Segunda División seasons (a spell in the 1950s, and most of the 1990s and 2000s), spending the rest of their history competing at lower levels.

The team plays in claret and blue shirts with blue shorts (originating from the kit of FC Barcelona) and holds home games at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium. SD Eibar is a fan-owned club, with about 8,000 shareholders from 48 countries. Although Eibar is the sole professional club of its town, it contests several Basque derbies with other clubs from the region.

Eibar is the only football club which has the quality certificate UNE-EN-ISO 9001.

    Why Eibar?

I love cinderella stories, Davids that compete against Goliaths and when it comes to sports I tend to look at them in a sort of romantic way, I believe, or at least, want to believe there is still more to football than money and I am fond of clubs that show that in some way, like Athletic Bilbao for example, I really respect that.

Eibar is a town of around 25.000 people and it is a miracle that they managed to get in the First division of spanish football and crazy that they stayed there for so long. It just shows that people behind the club know what they are doing, that they love the club and that they are putting club's interest's ahead of their own and that the leadership in the organization is fantastic. I want to emphasize that as a new manager of the team. Eibar is also a Basque club, a a proud region. My idea of Eibar is not Basque players only, but Basque players first.

    Amaia Gorositza (President)

Amaia Gorostiza (Eibar, Spain, 1967) is the president of SD Eibar, taking over the club on the 23rd of May 2016. She was the first woman to ever direct the team in the Basque club's 77-year history. During her two years in power, Gorostiza has been able to keep SD Eibar in LaLiga, an incredible achievement. Her exploits are made more impressive when considering that the city of Eibar has a population of barely 30,000, and that they play in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. Born in Eibar, Amaia Gorostiza is a member of the Amaya Tellería Group's Executive Board. She is also a member of Elkargi SGR's Finance Committee, as well as an executive board member for that company and others, such as Dominion and APD Zona Norte, and is also auditor for the latter. In her family, she has a mirror in which to look: her mother, Amaya Tellería, who in the '50s founded the automotive group that bears her name from a workshop that was in bankruptcy. As fruit of her work, she was recognized with awards as the best Basque businessman in 2013.

    Markel Susaeta (Manager)

If you follow Spanish footbal you must've heard of Markel Susaeta, ex Athletic Bilbao player. He was born in Eibar, he is well known football figure in Spain, he's young and he should fit the club's long term vision after getting relegated from the First divison.

    Ipurúa

Ipurua Futbol Zelaia (also written Ipurúa), is an all-seater football stadium in Eibar, Spain, serving as the home ground of SD Eibar. Opened in 1947, the stadium has a capacity of 8,164 seats. Ipurua remains a modern-yet-compact stadium with full UEFA certification, although many visiting La Liga teams have complained that its 7,000 seats are not up to par for a top flight stadium.

    LaLiga SmartBank

The league contains 22 teams that play each other home and away for a 42-match season. Each year three teams are promoted to La Liga. The top two teams earn an automatic promotion. The third team to be promoted is the winner of a play-off between the teams that finished 3rd to 6th (reserve teams are not eligible for promotion). The play-offs comprise two-legged semi-finals followed by a two-legged final. The bottom four are relegated to Primera División RFEF.

  8. Yeah, I'm enjoying the game, and I see that the youth development has been slightly revamped and it's more realistic now, I don't know why they didn't highlight that as one of the features, that's major. I wouldn't say ME is worse, the possesion bug is the only big thing that bothers me in some way, as it really doesn't represent what it should, but other than that, yeah, in some ways it's maybe worse than FM 21, but in some ways it's better. All in all, will keep on playing and enjoying it.

There's literally no point in this conversation.

    Macs are expensive.

You don't need a mac do to graphic design/video/animation etc.

I know, I work in the industry.

I don't buy them anymore as they are too expensive.

Much capable PC computers out there that are cheaper and do the job just as well.

That's true, but when it comes to laptops, m1 macs, mac m1 air for example, are the best in terms of value for the price.
