Exactly, patience is a virtue not many have today. Nowadays people want what they want now, and if they have to wait, be prepared, I've heard Cyberpunk stuff being threatened etc. Attention span and the modern lifestyle caused that IMO.

St Pauli this time, I've never managed them, but I love the atmosphere around the club, the fans and what the club stands for, will try to bring them to Bundesliga, it might take more than a year, but I want to build a solid club there.

Thinking about St. Pauli for the main save when the full game comes out, but not sure who to manage in Beta, probably some bigger side, Maybe Barcelona, just to test things.

I think I figured out what's the cause of it. Apparently my PC is using a lot of memory, too much I guess, without it being shown somewhere, tried googling it but still not sure how to fix it. If anybody had the same problem I'd be really thankful for any sort of help

It doesn't really matter, It least those I am aware of, usually I'd have Firefox open but I tried playing without it and it's pretty much the same thing. I use Windows 10 default protection settings, I think it has some sort of antivirus included, but it never made any problems.

Hi, I don't know what happened, but FM 20 is suddenly so slow that it is borderline unplayable. Anybody else had the same problem? It used to run fine, I would start around 10 leagues and it would be around 2 stars and that was good enough for me, but now it's terribly slow, and when I set up a couple of leagues it gives me half a star. I have Ryzen5 2500U, 8GB RAM and 250 gb SSD. I opened the task manager the last time I was trying to play and it said that the FM is using 2,5gb, is that too much?
Not sure what to do, cause I tried to reinstall the game and it is the same. Thanks in advance.

This is the most negative FM community I know. Is that a bad thing? Maybe not necessarily, some would say the most demanding, the one that's the hardest to satisfy :D. I've enjoyed playing FM20, yeah, I get frustrated, but that's just the part of FM of course. Maybe it's just love for the sport speaking, but I really think FM is a great immersive game where I can spend hours and won't feel bored. Yeah, there are the details that bother me, but all in all, I enjoyed Championship manager 4 and let's be honest, that game can't be compared to today's FM and I'll preorder FM21.
I don't know which other games you guys play, but games like NBA 2K (I love basketball) and FIFA are really going away from the sim part of it and are becoming more and more built for the community and players that spend the most money and neglect what sports that these game represent really are about. It's turning into an arcade show. I respect SI because they are, in comparison to these companies, respectful to it's community, they don't make money grab mechanisms and are trying to create a game to be as close to it's sport as possible. Maybe they didn't satisfy your need and what you would want from a football manager game, but still, I will, without a doubt, keep on supporting SI and FM.

I haven't really experienced the same. Playing with Hannover and it's been great, in fact, I haven't conceded a goal in competitive matches. Here are the stats, I rarely score from corners or free kicks. Enjoying the game at the moment, probably more because I am winning :D.

I don't know, I try to adapt, people complaining about long balls over the top, yeah, they are too accurate, but tactics are playing their role as well. I was playing a gegenpress tactic and long balls were a problem, not every team can pull it off. It worked but with mixed results. I don't know if AI was beginning to figure it out but I had had more and more problems with it. I tried a attacking deep line lower line of engagement tactic last game and won 3-1. Zero problems with balls over the top, AI 0 ccc, they scored from the free kick. Even though I had less possession my team was more dangerous and had more chances. Btw, I am playing with Portsmouth and I am at the top of the table currently 15 points in front of Ipswich.

I like it, played a couple of games only, but it feels better overall. 1 on 1 going in a bit more right now, I think people expected a lot more being scored, but that's not the case. Players feels smarter and making better decision up front, more crosses, I scored 7 goals in 3 matches, all kinds. I am really glad that SI keeps releasing these patches really often and working on improving game, It's better, but as always, there's room for improvement.

As someone said, I don´t even get excited over 1 on 1s anymore :D. I am really surprised if a player manages to score it, I am mostly just wishing for a corner
. But I am winning, mostly, sitting at the first place in League One with Portsmouth. And I gotta agree, everything except ME is phenomenal, really enjoying the game. But ME could be improved, I know it´s not easy, but hope I believe it´ll get better.

Yeah, same thing here, will wait for the fix before starting something more in depth. But still, people here are overly critical and a kind of aggressive, I get it, you paid for it, you want to play it, but it happens, I am sure SI will fix it soon.

Not sure why my board is so disappointed why my transfers. I spent my transfer budget, 1,5 M, on three young players which should become a vital part of my team in the future and eventually too good for my team and bring in money. Should I just blame it on board not valuing these players correctly since they are young and won't have such an impact right even but I spent my money on them without improving the first team so to say. Fans are on the other hand satisfied

I'll wait for the official release that is, the full game since there will be many corrections across the board. For example, database changes.
