@mwebb You can also place all the teams in fictitious secondary divisions and then, when creating cups, you can use these divisions to select or ignore the teams you want.

I remember PES. You could choose to have fast players and go straight at them, or you could choose to take players you liked and try to play a style of football you liked.

I imported my FM23 files and it said that they were verified without testing, but in game it was impossible to load them because they were not verified. I copied and pasted the competitions into an FM24 file and again it was impossible to check them. In the end, if I kept going division by division, it worked. I was able to load them in game and launch a game without a crash but I didn't play so I don't know if it's viable.

Wonderful 👍
Thank you so much !1 -
I'm not sure it's a problem of date, as it also works by adding a ranking phase. Well, I'm relieved because the same thing works fine in FM24.

Yes, it's possible. It looks something like this. I hope the new editor doesn't make this kind of error, because this one, apart from doing DB or rather simple things, is a real pain.

What I don't understand is that, for example, I create a classic championship without playoffs or any other fantasy and everything works, but as soon as I add a playoff to the same championship I get this error message.

It's really strange because for the same file done differently I don't get the same result. I wonder if this isn't linked to an error in the competitions created (a conflict in the fates, dates, team selections, etc.). In the past, the editor indicated an error that had nothing to do with the real one.

There are some websites that have all the data (players, clubs, countries, etc.) like sortitoutsi. Have they imported everything manually?

Playground AI is free.
There's also Dall-e, which is free via Bing.0 -
I found some screenshots that I sent to @Wolf_pd that were 3-4 years old. They were tests without pushing the envelope to see what was feasible.
The error message shows that Serie A has 5 clubs too many, which are the ones sent there from the continental cup (Plus Atalanta, who were already in Serie A)
I imagine that with a refined team selection system it should be possible to manage teams in the right divisions.

I've also tried Dall-e via Bing but the result seems too "smooth" and for the same prompt as SDXL it censors the image even though I'm simply asking for a football player. On the other hand, there are more differences between each face.
Here are a few tests on Dall-e:

Wow that's great, thanks for sharing! I'm on a DB where I'm reviving old clubs and it's perfect for creating new players too.
I've experimented with a few "sons of" and for some it's great and for others it's not so great... In particular, I have a problem with eyes.0 -
I tested something a while ago, and it's possible to send teams from a continental competition to a national (secondary) division.

That's my fear. There are things in the game that I expected and that are there, and it looks promising, but to be honest I think I spend more time on the editor than on the game itself

Sorry, this has already been asked, but is there any news about the editor for FM24?

This kind of DB can be complicated, usually you solve one error then another comes along behind that you also solve and so on until you finally get something that works. It can take a long time. I'm working on a complicated DB myself, so I'm not sure I've got time for yours. Give it a try yourself and if I can I will, but I can't promise anything.

- An option to create a club like Atletic Bilbao. For example, by simply ticking a box that would activate this option with a drop-down menu to choose which nation or even which local region.
- The possibility of having the rules of several nations in a single file.- Create a new continent or nation in the same way as you would create a club.

I don't think so. It would almost have to be rebuilt.

I'm not sure I understand your question.
Generally speaking, it is the equivalent of the Child Comp. There is the Parent Comp and then the Multiple Comp which groups all the Child Comp. I'm not sure if it works without the Parent Comp though. You can look at the Italian Serie C or the French National 2, they are multiple competitions.0
how to fix 'division level for league (101st) doesn't match up with the competition's position (2nd) in the competitions list for the nation'

Have you checked that you have the right number of dates?
