  1. I don't know if there is an order to it.
In Brazil it starts with the Secondary Divisions (state championships) and then once they end the Domestic Divisions start.

There are some things to consider:
    - It is impossible to control a club that is only involved in a Secondary Division. In order to control it, it must also be in a Domestic Division. (At least that is my experience)
    - Continental qualifying is done through the Domestic Top Division although it is possible to get around this problem.

I know there is a similar sort of setup in Brazil (albeit not seasonal) where 2 leagues run consecutively, but I am not familiar with how it is set up. Would it just be a case of using the 'Secondary Division' option?

Yes indeed, the state championships are secondary divisions and the others (Serie A, B and C) are domestic divisions.

It's quite strange, when I load your DB there is no trace of Liberty Open...

It is also included in the Changes Database.

Honestly I don't know how to help you. Maybe try recreating it to see if the "new" Liberty Open appears. Add something to its name (e.g. Liberty Open TT) so as not to confuse it.

You'll have to do it manually for each team.

    Pre-Game Editor -> Clubs -> get the Club(s) you want -> Edit -> Reserve Teams -> Clear -> Current Affiliations -> Clear

+ make them extinct and remove them from the leagues in which they play... :D

    Hi everyone,

Do you know if there is a way to put a "transfer rule" to force a club to only buy players from a specific country ?

A bit like the Athletic Bilbao and basque players rule

No, but I think you can force a club to have no foreigners. From then on I imagine that the club in question will not recruit any foreigners. It is also possible to force clubs based in country A playing in country B to recruit only players from country A.
    This is in squad registration.

i load the FM23 data and then edit it, is it possible to save that DB and then have it availiable to re load and edit again? i tried it but must habve mucked it up as i lost changes and it was back to the fm23 data?

Yes, this is possible. You save the backup you have edited, e.g. Edit01, and then reload it when you need to edit it again.

For YT I never look, I guess there must be some good Tuto but I don't know.

  7. The problem I had with this system was with the continental qualifiers. They were done in alphabetical order, for example the teams that qualified were only from group A so I opted for a group system. I'd be happy to see how you can manage that. Could you post the way you will use.

  8. I don't understand what you are trying to do. Especially your Mother Competition.

But already you are missing the level of your Fourth Division, there are no registered teams and your Mother Competition is a league with minimum 70 teams. Also missing is the Type of your divisions.

I think you should first create your entire file in Basic Rules and then convert it to Advanced Rules once you are sure you have what you want.
