We made some changes which was due to improve performance for some users and it's had a knock on - which is always a possibility given the almost infinite possibilities of system configurations. You'll find if you follow the instructions I've linked to above you can easily revert that change via the launch option and revert back to how it was before the update.

The game is setup to run with a default setup - if people are purposely removing files which should not be removed and it's crashing, that's not something we're in a position to fix. Our recommendation is very much to not remove any existing game files from the installed folders.

Our research into this has indicated that when it moves into the new format, teams can meet other teams from the same nation as early as the first knockout stage. That's why this is currently implemented in game.

If anyone has specific examples of where they feel they're finding issues with the game, please raise it with examples via our Bug Tracker.
Specifically to player development, not all players should be developing correctly. Players in real life are often mismanaged to a point where they don't develop or stagnate. What needs to happen is a balance whereby the numbers of players within a certain CA range remain consistent over time - so let's say there's 15 players with a 180CA at game start - what does it look like in 10 years time in-game? Same for other ranges (160, 140, 120, 100, 80 etc). We do track this over time and from our tests over a large number of saves, the numbers aren't dramatically different to the data driven info at game start. But we're always interested in more feedbck.
Bear in mind, what happens here can in some situations be determined by the db size at game start and the balance of loaded leagues.
In relation to players not being called up to international squads, this is an issue more related to player reputation which is being looked at separately, but any examples would be appreciated.

Unfortunately we've struggled to reproduce this issue internally, but the team are continuing to investigate. For now appreciate it's not ideal but would avoid doing the above functionality from the training screen for the time-being and save regularly.

What exactly have you done in relation to changing the players? Ideally we'd need to know the exact steps you used in order to reproduce this. We've tried doing a general setup with a VNS team like the OP and that hasn't reproduced, so more info here would be very much appreciated.

Really appreciate the information on this one. We've done some investigating on our side and believe with certain setups it's to do with having lots of recruitment focuses setup, and not really enough scouts to process them all.
Having more save games to investigate this further (and see if it's also the cause for others in this issue) would be appreciated, so @Jorgenism and @Extrixnl if you have any saves that show specific slowdown, please do upload and let us know the file name. Yeah bit of an odd one - clearly knows that they're offside so doesn't touch the ball, but hard to say they're not intefering with play

Just to be clear on this one, rules have changed in real life which have prevented overseas players joining clubs which wasn't the case in previous years - especially in the UK. This is reflected in game by this being more realistic.
It's become a lot rarer in real life football - we don't change things just for the sake of annoying people or trying to make it harder, we do so based on real life factors.
Saying that we are looking at it and it is being fine-tuned based on feedback both from in-house comments and the community. Thanks.

If nothing happens to warrant it being a highlight then it won't show - even if it does appear to be a promising position.
This does depend on what level of highlights you have it set to - if you're on key this is much more likely to happen.

We've do widespread analysis across the entire game for the frequency of fouls, bookings and dismissals and these are well within what is considered a normal range compared to real life.
Feel free to upload PKMs of specific matches/saves where you feel there are examples where you've high examples. There's a lot to take into account with the ME, such as player attributes (aggression, tackling, decisions etc) as well as the different levels of harshness by referees etc.
But based on the current evidence we have, the wide-ranging tests we've conducted and various data we use internally, we do not believe the rate is high. It's current averaging around 3.3 yellows per match and 0.12 red cards in game.
